As believers we are supposed to walk by faith and not by sight (2 Cor 5:7). This is because faith is the catalyst which actions God’s hand to move in our life and without it we hinder our own help from him. Many times in the scriptures we hear Jesus say to people “Go, your faith has made you whole”.
Satan want to move a person away from faith into fear , because he knows, that is the perfect place to paralyse the believer and stop them from moving forward. As believers we need to practice our faith everyday, and what i mean by that is, we should learn to stretch our faith to expect the unexpected. We a saved by faith onto faith Rom 1:17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. So our faith is something that can grow and as you stretch your expectations and trust God to fulfill them. Every time that happens your faith grows. However God does not just give you that experience for you, he gives it so you can share it with others, so they can be encouraged and begin to operate in faith also. Heb 11:7 By faith Noah, having been warned by God of things not yet seen, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith. Heb 11:8 By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out into a place which he was afterward going to receive for an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he went. Heb 11:9 By faith he lived in the land of promise as a stranger, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs of the same promise with him. The whole chapter of Hebrews 11 are accounts of people stepping out in faith expecting the unexpected and seeing God come through in a big way. There are other people in this chapter who stepped out by faith and personal did not see the fulfillment but their generations did. So the motive of our faith should be to expect the unexpected in God’s time and ours. Many people think that if what they are expecting does not come immediately then God did not answer the prayer and then they try to assist God by doing certain things and get themselves into even more bother. A good example of this is King Saul: 1Sa 13:8 And he waited seven days, according to the set time with Samuel. But Samuel did not come to Gilgal. And the people were scattered from him. 1Sa 13:9 And Saul said, Bring a burnt offering here to me, and peace offerings. And he offered the burnt offering. 1Sa 13:10 And it happened as soon as he had made an end of offering the burnt offering, behold, Samuel came. And Saul went out to meet him and to kneel to him. 1Sa 13:11 And Samuel said, What have you done? And Saul said, Because I saw that the people were scattered from me, and you did not come in the days appointed, and the Philistines gathered themselves at Michmash, 1Sa 13:12 and I said, The Philistines will come down now on me to Gilgal, and I have not made supplication to Jehovah. And I forced myself and offered a burnt offering. 1Sa 13:13 And Samuel said to Saul, You have done foolishly. You have not kept the commandment of Jehovah your God, which He commanded you. For now Jehovah would have established your kingdom on Israel forever. 1Sa 13:14 But now your kingdom shall not stand. Jehovah has sought Him a man after His own heart, and Jehovah has appointed him to be leader over His people, because you have not kept what Jehovah commanded you. Hebrews 11: 1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. So truly to be able to operate in faith so the thing can be fulfilled in Gods timing, we have to allow the Holy Spirit to guide and direct us and we will know whether or not we are doing that, because we will be operating in the fruits of the spirit: Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is: love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faith, Gal 5:23 meekness, self-control; against such things there is no law. But if we operate in God’s laws and principles and love him for who he is and not just for what he can give us, this is what the Bible promises: Eph 3:17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, Eph 3:18 may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth and length and depth and height, Eph 3:19 and to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge, that you might be filled with all the fullness of God. Eph 3:20 Now to Him who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask orthink, according to the power that works in us, Eph 3:21 to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, forever. Amen. So walk by faith and not by sight and expect the unexpected. Parallel Principals We are in a business where you need to expect the unexpected because as we build this, there are going to be certain people that you would have never expected to let you down, who will do exactly that. On the other hand there are going to be people who you did not expect to do anything who will be one of your runners. We have to learn in all things to give God thanks. It is going to take faith and effort for all of us to build our Reliv businesses and God is going to use situations in our businesses to see just how much we truly do love people: Are we truly helping our customers through good follow up? Are we truly helping our distributors through good follow up? It all about me or am I telling the truth when i say I love helping others? The thing is if we can be trusted with a little then God will also trust us with much. So if your motives are right expect the unexpected and have the patience and the work ethic to see the fulfillment. If you do not do the things you are supposed to do, then nothing will happen, it does not matter how much faith you say you have, as faith without works is dead (James 2:20). So please do not expect nothing out, if you are not putting anything in. God’s principals of Sowing and Reaping apply very much so in our business. So if want to experience the impossible, you first have to see the invisible, in other words, look to God and by faith expect the impossible.
