Rom 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, pleasing to God, which is your reasonable service.
To love someone is to give your all to that person, any less is not true love. Love causes you to go the extra mile, to do things that you didn’t think you would do. As we love we are demonstrate the nature of God that caused him to create us in the first place. The same nature that cause him to come down to where are, to experience a human experience, die on a cross and then to resurrect himself, just so that we can be saved from the penalty of sin which in death. Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only-begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. Unless a person truly understands about love, they will never be able to accept that the God of the universe would do something like that. To some religions, that statement is blasphemy because their concept of God is not one of a loving God, but one of which is so disconnected with humanity, that he would never do such a thing, he is too holy for that. I am so glad that our God who is the true and living God is not a distant God but an imminent God who wants to get involved in our lives. God is Love! 1Jn 4:8 The one who does not love has not known God. For God is love. God Demonstrated the Greater Love Joh 15:13 No one has greater love than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. So God gave his all for us, therefore we need to give our all for him, this is why there is no such thing as half a Christian, you are either a Christian or you are not. When a person makes that decision to become a Christian, that decision comes with consequences, the first is you have to die to yourself. This means all of those carnal desires that you had/have, you can not longer give into them. This is where choice is so powerful because you choose to give into them or not, it does not matter how you justify them by saying “This is my weakness” or “I am a work in progress”, if you give into it, that was your choice. I thank God for his grace! Rom 7:14 We know that the Law is spiritual. But I am merely a human, and I have been sold as a slave to sin. Rom 7:15 In fact, I don't understand why I act the way I do. I don't do what I know is right. I do the things I hate. Rom 7:16 Although I don't do what I know is right, I agree that the Law is good. Rom 7:17 So I am not the one doing these evil things. The sin that lives in me is what does them. Rom 7:18 I know that my selfish desires won't let me do anything that is good. Even when I want to do right, I cannot. Rom 7:19 Instead of doing what I know is right, I do wrong. Rom 7:20 And so, if I don't do what I know is right, I am no longer the one doing these evil things. The sin that lives in me is what does them. Rom 7:21 The Law has shown me that something in me keeps me from doing what I know is right. Rom 7:22 With my whole heart I agree with the Law of God. Rom 7:23 But in every part of me I discover something fighting against my mind, and it makes me a prisoner of sin that controls everything I do. Rom 7:24 What a miserable person I am. Who will rescue me from this body that is doomed to die? Rom 7:25 Thank God! Jesus Christ will rescue me. So with my mind I serve the Law of God, although my selfish desires make me serve the law of sin. The sin is not the temptation, the sin is when we give into the temptation. 1Co 10:13 No temptation has taken you but what is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but with the temptation also will make a way to escape, so that you may be able to bear it. Given God your all means dying to yourself on a daily basis because everyday our minds are under attack and that old nature tries to rise back up. This is why we need to clothe ourselves properly: Eph 6:11 Put on the whole armor of God so that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Eph 6:12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the world's rulers, of the darkness of this age, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Eph 6:13 Therefore take to yourselves the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Eph 6:14 Therefore stand, having your loins girded about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness Eph 6:15 and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace. Eph 6:16 Above all, take the shield of faith, with which you shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. Eph 6:17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, To give God your all is a decision, so choose this day who you are going to serve. As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord! Parallel Principals When you have made a decision to build a Reliv business, unless you give it your all it will not work. Giving your all does not mean working your business 10 hours everyday, but is does mean in the time you have allocated for your business, you work it effectively. It means doing the things you need to do and stop making excuses, it means stepping out of your comfort zone and learning new skills that will cause your business to grow. Network Marketing is a profession and as with any profession, you have to invest in your own education and give yourself time to learn it. In the 6 years I have been in this industry it never ceases to amaze me how people come into our opportunity, do not do the things they are supposed to do, they do not use the system, but they complain when they are not making any money. Giving your all is going to at times make you feel uncomfortable, giving your all is going to challenge you. However giving your all is going to allow you to rise to heights that the majority of people will never reach simply because of wrong attitude. Doing this business has taught me a lot about life and about people and it has truly opened up my understanding of this scripture: Mat 7:13 Go in through the narrow gate, for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many there are who go in through it. Mat 7:14 Because narrow is the gate and constricted is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it. **************************************************** Jason Gregory Business Coach & Mentor Reliv ****************************************************
