It always amazes me how God knows what we need, even when we don’t. God has already made provision for each and every one of us, so if we just trust him, our lives would be so much more less stressful.
We are coming into a new year and many people do not know what to expect, there is a lot of uncertainty financially and people are worried. However, how should a child of God approach the new year?
We should approach it completely differently, as we should know what God says in his book. You see when you know the end of the story; you do not get anxious when you are going through chapter 3!
Just as long as we do what we are supposed to be doing God will take care of the rest:
Pro 20:13 Do not love sleep, lest you come to poverty; open your eyes and you shall be satisfied with bread.
You cannot, not do what you are supposed to be doing and expect God to come through for you. God honours those with integrity, work ethic, persistency and consistency, without these things you will accomplish nothing.
Jacob had these things and this is why after 14 years he got what he was working for:
Gen 29:18 And Jacob loved Rachel, and said, I will serve you seven years for Rachel your younger daughter.
Gen 29:19 And Laban said, It is better that I give her to you than that I should give her to another man. Stay with me.
Gen 29:20 And Jacob served seven years for Rachel, and they seemed to him a few days, for the love he had for her.
Gen 29:21 And Jacob said to Laban, Give me my wife, for my days are fulfilled, so that I may go in to her.
Gen 29:22 And Laban gathered together all the men of the place, and made a feast.
Gen 29:23 And it happened in the evening, he took his daughter Leah and brought her to him. And he went in to her.
Gen 29:24 And Laban gave Zilpah his slave woman to his daughter Leah for a handmaid.
Gen 29:25 And it happened in the morning, behold, it was Leah! And he said to Laban, What is this you have done to me? Did I not serve with you for Rachel? Why then have you tricked me?
Gen 29:26 And Laban said, It must not be done so in our country, to give the younger before the first-born.
Gen 29:27 Fulfill her week, and we will give you this one also for the service which you shall serve with me still another seven years.
Gen 29:28 And Jacob did so, and fulfilled her week. And he gave him Rachel his daughter to wife also.
Life is going to throw unsuspecting things at us and when these things come, the thing that will decide whether or not we are going to be successful is our, work ethic, persistency and consistency during the situation.
(Talk about the situation with Dadda)
When you are pressed in life, the pressure is not to break you, it is to develop you, remember God knows what you need and he will not give you more than you can bear:
1Co 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.
So, go into 2011 with confidence knowing “All things are working together for your good”(Romans 8:28) and if you ever find yourself getting overwhelmed, focus on Jesus and say what David said:
Psa 61:2 From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
Psa 61:3 For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy.
Building a network marketing business, you have to have a good work ethic, be persistent and be consistent. These are the areas where people fall down in when doing their business as they are not faithful in these areas, therefore their businesses do not grow. Many times these people will leave one opportunity and jump to another one, blaming the company or the products rather than looking at themselves. Unfortunately they will bring the same problem to the new company and eventually jump ship again and again. Finally they will resolve themselves to the fact that this business model does not work and it is only the people at the top who make all of the money.
When a person has a good work ethic, is persistent and consistent, a very important thing begins to happen and that is Personal Growth. As they grow personally, they start getting better results and eventually they get very good at what they are going.
God wants each and every one of us as his children to be successful in Reliv, however, if we are not prepared to go through the process I just mentioned, we WILL NOT be successful.
God wanted all of the children of Israel who left Egypt to get into the promise land, but because of attitudes and mindsets only 2 of the original people got in.
2011 is going to be a year where we are going to be able to help a lot more people in their health and finances, it is also going to be a year where a lot more people are going to tell us NO!
We cannot control how people are going to receive the message of Reliv, but we can control the amount of times we give the message. For those who decide to take onboard the message of Reliv, we can then help them to achieve whatever it is that they are looking for and continue Dr Ted’s mission, to “Nourish Our World”.

For the past Eight years, I have been hosting a weekly prayer call for the believers in the offline company that i work alongside. Looking at biblical principals and seeing how we can apply them into our businesses.
