Every person on the planet has a purpose to fulfill; no one is born just to fill a space. The choices of the individual determine whether or not they will fulfill their godly purpose or if the purposes of the enemy will be fulfilled in their life. When we become Born Again, we start to walk in the God ordained purpose for our lives, we and re-connected back to God through his Holy Spirit and we now have his word to guide us. Every Born Again person is called for a specific purpose and has gifts and talents given by God to complete the purpose God has for them. It is called a Calling and everyone who is called in a specific area will be drawn into it and their gifting will make way for them. Some people like Moses will try and avoid their calling, other people like Gideon will not think they are not good enough to fulfill their calling. However God will always make a way. A good example of this is the prophet Jonah, he was called to minister to the city of Nineveh but he did not want to go, so he went in the opposite direction. So because of his disobedience he found himself in the wrong place at the wrong time and him being there, put himself and others in danger. It took him being swallowed by a fish and being in the belly of the fish for 3 days, for him to get his perspective right and understand his destiny was tide up in his calling. Sometimes we think that our input will not matter and is insignificant, not realizing our input is very significant. Many times when people see miracles happen in ministries, like healing and deliverances etc, they see the man or woman at the front of the service but what they do not see is all of the people praying in the background. The silent in the land. Some people are called to be intercessors and prayer warriors and many times the enemy tries to lie to them to make them feel that their input will not count. However God’s reality is completely different! Even the largest of ships is directed by the smallest of rudders. Why do you think that when God decided to come to earth in the form of a man, he did not come in an earthly palace, but in the most insignificant of places? It was to let everyone from the least to the greatest, that their input was significant. Through all of this however, it is still our choice whether or not we fulfill our calling, as God is not a taskmaster. Everyone is invited to fulfill their godly destiny and the gifts are there for them to use. However, only a few people choose to embrace it and run with it. You can be saved from sin and still live a stagnant life, simply because of wrong choices. You can get into a wedding feast because you have the right clothes on, but while you are in there, if you refuse to eat the food, you will miss out on all of the potential that is open to you: Mat 22:8 “Then he told his servants, ‘The wedding is ready, but those who were invited were not worthy. Mat 22:9 So go into the roads leading out of town and invite as many people as you can find to the wedding.’ Mat 22:10 Those servants went out into the streets and brought in everyone they found, evil and good alike, and the wedding hall was packed with guests. Mat 22:11 “When the king came in to see the guests, he noticed a man there who was not wearing wedding clothes. Mat 22:12 He asked him, ‘Friend, how did you get in here without wedding clothes?’ But the man was speechless. Mat 22:13 Then the king told his servants, ‘Tie his hands and feet, and throw him into the darkness outside!’ In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, [I.e. extreme pain] Mat 22:14 because many are invited, but few are chosen.” So yes a person can be save out of their sin but that same person can also live a Christian life never fulfill their true potential, because of wrong choices and not recognizing their calling. Parallel Business Principals Over the years in Reliv I have seen many people come and go without fulfilling their true potential, simply because of wrong choices. They choose not to be teachable or they choose to believe the opinions of others. There are many talented people, but talent alone is not enough, it has to be backed up with the right direction. We have the opportunity to help a lot of people if we make the right choices, but that is down to us. A person has to know why they are building their Reliv business and it has to be more than just the money. Once they understand why, they will be motivated to fulfill their purpose when building. Reliv is different from many of the other business opportunities out there and it takes a very specific type of person to build it successfully. So many will join, but only a few will do what it takes to be successful. ..................................................... Thank you, again, Jason, for your words this morning. Such sage advice. We all have a calling. We are not placed on this planet to merely take up space.
