As believers our journey with Christ starts with faith, continues with faith and will end with faith.
Faith is the thing that allows God to work in our lives and that is why without faith, it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6) But we can just say we have faith and that is it, however true faith will be demonstrated by our actions and not by our words: Jas 2:14 My brothers, what profit is it if a man says he has faith and does not have works? Can faith save him? Jas 2:15 If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, Jas 2:16 and if one of you says to them, Go in peace, be warmed and filled, but you do not give them those things which are needful to the body, what good is it? Jas 2:17 Even so, if it does not have works, faith is dead, being by itself. Jas 2:18 But someone will say, You have faith, and I have works. Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith from my works. Jas 2:19 You believe that there is one God, you do well; even the demons believe and tremble. Jas 2:20 But will you know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? Jas 2:21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? Jas 2:22 Do you see how faith worked with his works, and from the works faith was made complete? Jas 2:23 And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, "Abraham believed God, and it was imputed to him for righteousness, and he was called the friend of God." Jas 2:24 You see then how a man is justified by works, and not by faith only. Jas 2:25 And in the same way, was not Rahab the harlot also justified by works when she had received the messengers and had sent them out another way? Jas 2:26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. True faith is such a power weapon against the enemy, that the enemy will do all he can to disarm you. He will do this by trying to get you to focus on the problem instead of focusing God. Then he will try and get you to be so depressed that you can not read the word, (which is the very thing that will renew your faith). Then he will try and get you to feel so guilty for not reading the word and spending any time with God at all, that you start finding it hard the pray. Then he may start bring things your way that will make you busy at all of the times you used to be in fellowship with other believers (Like a job where you have to work on Sundays or which ever day your join in fellowship). All of this is to disarm you, because the original problem is still there and you start getting more and more fearful of it. Fear is opposite of faith and is Satans favourite weapon against the believer. God calls us to walk by faith and not by sight (2Cor 5:7), and this is because he wants us to understand that he is in control and so every time he comes through for us in any area of our lives, we give HIM the glory. As you stay connect to the Vine (Jesus) you will receive the right food which will give you the strength to get through this life. Joh 15:4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it remains in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. As you experience Gods deliverance more and more your faith gets stronger and stronger but in order for your faith to get stronger you have to exercise it and that happens through tuff times. When you go through experience after experience, you can be like Hebrews 11, where you can look back at all the times Gods have come through for you and that will strengthen you when you are going through a new challenge. Parallel Principals In Reliv we always speak about the “Wall of Belief” and the wall of belief is the thing you need to build up in order for you to do fully committed to your business. We build this wall of belief through:
These are vital to establishing a “Wall of Belief” or a faith in what you are doing that will be unshakable. This is why it is so important to stay plugged into the System because the System it the thing that provides the brick and mortar so you can start and continue to build your wall (which are the stories). Have you ever heard of anyone building a wall without brick and mortar? Well what makes you think you can build a strong wall of belief without the system? You need to have faith in what you are building, so you need to set goals for yourself and once you have set them, you need to believe God for the victory and praising him for the end result even before it has happened. BUT it does no stop there, you also have to be doing the right things that will allow you to hit your goals.
