Having the end in mind
As Christians we are called to be forward thinkers and for many of us who have never been like that, it means renewing the way we think, which will change us dramatically. Php 3:10 that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being made conformable to His death; Php 3:11 if by any means I might attain to the resurrection of the dead. Php 3:12 Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect, but I am pressing on, if I may lay hold of that for which I also was taken hold of by Christ Jesus. Php 3:13 My brothers, I do not count myself to have taken possession, but one thing I do, forgetting the things behind and reaching forward to the things before, Php 3:14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Php 3:15 Let us therefore, as many as are perfect, be of this mind. And if in anything you are otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this to you. So many times the way we think holds us back; it affects how we perceive things, which in turn effects our attitude towards things, which in turn effects our option towards things, which finally effects our performance and how we act toward things. We cannot change to past but we can effect to the future. Many of us live in the past, so we never experience the power of living in the present and how that can drastically change our future. Why do you think when God spoke to Moses and was telling him how he was going to use him in Egypt, knowing Moses was the type of person to start making excuses because of past insecurities concerning past mistakes and past personal flaws, God decided to share with him his name? Exo 3:13 And Moses said to God, Behold, when I come to the sons of Israel, and shall say to them, The God of your fathers has sent me to you, and they shall say to me, What is His name? What shall I say to them? Exo 3:14 And God said to Moses, I AM THAT I AM. And He said, So you shall say to the sons of Israel, I AM has sent me to you. It was because God always lives in the present, God does not have a past or a future because God is not subject to the law of time, because he created time. Therefore if God is always in the present, then we being transformed back into our original position in God through the blood of Jesus, which is being in his image and likeness, need to always have the attitude of living in the present. This will stop us from worrying about the past and getting stressed out about the future. If we be still and know that God is God, listen to the voice of the Holy spirit, apply the word of God to our lives (not just listen to it), then even though we plan for the future we will not worry about it and because we live in the present. This will dramatically effect our future because to trust God and live in the present is to love him and walk in his PRESENCE. Parallel Principal I truly believe that this parallel principal will dramatically change somebody’s life on the phone today and how they perceive themselves and their business. Many of us in our business cut ourselves off from our future success because we are so busy condemning ourselves over our past failures. You cannot change the past but you can affect your future by choosing to do the right things you need to do in your present. So if in the past you never plugged into the System correctly, you can choose to start plugging into the system correctly in your present. If you in to past did not speak to enough people about the business or the products, you can choose the start speaking to more people in your present. If you in the past did not do good follow up with your customers or Distributors, you can choose to do better follow up in your present. If you had a poor work ethic in the past, you can choose to have a better work ethic in your present. Life is about choices and if we make the right choices in our present it will dramatically affect our futures. ******************************************* Jason Gregory Business Coach & Mentor Reliv *******************************************

This is exactly what I needed to hear at this time, to live in the present. Thank you for being obedient to what God is showing you. I determine to do this, live in the present.
