2Ch 7:14 if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
The call to pray has never been as much needed as it is today. We live in a world that is so anti-God it is hard to comprehend the rapid decline in the last 50 years. With the emergence of technology and accessibility, anyone can indulge themselves in what ever sin they want to and with the satanic world view of “Do what thou wilt, which is the whole law” that has been promoted since the early 50’s, this has now taken onboard a life of its own. The moral decline of the whole world has far superseded that of Sodom and Gomorrah and just as it tortured Lots righteous soul being there living among them, so to many people in the church feel the same way about our world today: 2Pe 2:4 For if God did not spare sinning angels, but thrust them down into Tartarus, and delivered them into chains of darkness, being reserved to judgment. 2Pe 2:5 And He did not spare the old world, but saved Noah the eighth one, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly. 2Pe 2:6 And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes, He condemned them with an overthrow, setting an example to men intending to live ungodly. 2Pe 2:7 And He delivered righteous Lot, oppressed with the lustful behavior of the lawless. 2Pe 2:8 For that righteous one living among them, in seeing and hearing, his righteous soul was tormented from day to day with their unlawful deeds. 2Pe 2:9 The Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptation, and to reserve the unjust for a day of judgment, to be punished, 2Pe 2:10 and especially those who walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise dominion. They are darers, self-pleasing; not trembling at glories, speaking evil. The call to pray is needed now more than ever, there are sub-cultures that the average so called ordinary person has no clue about. These cultures are promoting the Satanic agenda in a big way and they are recruiting all the time. While all this is happening many people in the church have been sleeping, just concern about living in their salvation make sure they have a good life with not too much upheaval. We need to repent and ask God the forgive us for our complacency and our compromise because God has promised us if we turn from that and humble ourselves and pray, he will restore the land. We can effect our local environment through living right before God and through pray, when we are connecting to God he will show us what we should be praying about. Even when we feel so burdened down that we are founding it hard to pray the Holy Spirit will minister on our behalf: Rom 8:24 For we are saved by hope. But hope that is seen is not hope; for what anyone sees, why does he also hope for it? Rom 8:25 But if we hope for that which we do not see, then we wait for it with patience. Rom 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helps our infirmities. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Rom 8:27 And He searching the hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God. Rom 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. Prayer is our greatest weapons against the enemy and that is why he tries to stop us from doing it by using distractions. He knows if he can keep us busy, then we will not have time to pray and if we don’t prayer the land cannot to restored. We are entering into a time of year where the whole world cannot get away from the name Jesus, even though the enemy has done a good job of diluting the true message of the season. Most people are not aware that Jesus was not born on the 25th of December, but away from that, the fact of the matter is he was born. He lived a life of prayer, every decision he made was as a result of prayer and every challenge he faced, he got through it through prayer. Jesus came to be our perfect example and as such demonstrated the power of prayer. Today are we going to humble ourselves and pray, turn from our wicked ways so that our land can be restored? That is our choice. Parallel Principles As believers building our Reliv businesses, as well as working and doing the things we need to do through the system, the most powerful tool we have in order to achieve things and meet our goals is prayer. Sometimes things feel like they are slowing down or have ground to a halt, at that point rather than getting down, GET DOWN on your knees and ask God for direction in regards to your next move. Ask God to show you who needs this business and these products, ask him to direct your path so that you can come across these people. Praying about your business is putting your faith into action, it helps you to see the things that are not as if they are. It brings you to a place of expectation and hope. It helps you to stay excited about what God is going to do next in your business You see God is interested in all aspects of ourselves, including our Reliv business. So are you going to pray today? ************************************************** Jason Gregory Business Coach & Mentor R
