When someone has a true conversion, being a Christian is not an easy decision to make, because all of your fleshy nature is against that decision. Effectively a person becomes a new creation:
2Co 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
We have been brought up in a world and world system that is totally against the things of God and is excellent at tapping into the fleshy parts of man to keep man in spiritual slavery. The ultimate successful plan would be to keep people in slavery without the people even realizing their bondage, and this is what the enemy has mastered. However Jesus came to unplug people from the Matrix, but the majority of people want to be stayed plugged in!
The decision to became unplugged comes with consequences and many people have to deal with the big fall out as a result of that decision. In many nations around the world, making a decision for Christ means loosing family and friends and in many cases, even loosing your life. Even in my own life I experienced the fall out that happened when my wife decided to follow Christ, which was against the religion she had been brought in.
It would be a lot easier for people not to accept Christ and please family members, friends and society, however when a person has had a true experience with Christ, they understand what Jesus meant when in the Garden of Gethsemane he said “Not my will but thy will be done” (Luke 22:42)
People do not want to loose the love of family and friends, people do not want to be killed, but once they have been in the presence of truth and have been unplugged they want to see the closest people around them and everyone else unplugged also.
If a person has been raised maybe in a different religion, the enemy can use their family and friends who are still in that religion as a way to make that person feel guilty. They begin to question their conversation on the basis that if their conversation is true then their family and friends are lost. This is the enemy trying to get them plugged back in. However Jesus said these words:
“Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword!
Mat 10:35 I came to turn
‘a man against his father,
a daughter against her mother,
and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.
Mat 10:36 A person’s enemies will include members of his own family.’
Mat 10:37 The Cost of Discipleship
“The one who loves his father or mother more than me isn’t worthy of me, and the one who loves a son or daughter more than me isn’t worthy of me.
Mat 10:38 The one who doesn’t take up his cross and follow me isn’t worthy of me.
Mat 10:39 The one who finds his life will lose it, and the one who loses his life because of me will find it.”
Effectively what Jesus was saying is, his love is the love that will show us how to love, so if our limited love causes us to not be plugged into the unlimited love, then we are taking ourselves out of it.
In order for us to live for Christ, we first have to kill the flesh or as Paul described, fight the daily internal battle that goes on:
Rom 7:13 The Problem of the Sin that Lives in Us
Now, did something good bring me death? Of course not! But in order that sin might be recognized as being sin, it used something good to cause my death, so that through the rule, sin might become more exposed as being sinful than ever before.
Rom 7:14 For we know that the Law is spiritual, but I am merely human, sold as a slave to sin.
Rom 7:15 I don’t understand what I am doing. For I don’t practice what I want to do, but instead do what I hate.
Rom 7:16 Now if I practice what I don’t want to do, I am admitting that the Law is good.
Rom 7:17 As it is, I am no longer the one who is doing it, but it is the sin that is living in me.
Rom 7:18 For I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my flesh. For I have the desire to do what is right, but I cannot carry it out.
Rom 7:19 For I don’t do the good I want to do, but instead do the evil that I don’t want to do.
Rom 7:20 But if I do what I don’t want to do, I am no longer the one who is doing it, but it is the sin that is living in me.
Rom 7:21 So I find this to be a principle: when I want to do what is good, evil is right there with me.
Rom 7:22 For I delight in the Law of God in my inner being,
Rom 7:23 but I see in my body a different principle waging war with the Law in my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin that exists in my body.
Rom 7:24 What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is infected by death?
Rom 7:25 Thank God through Jesus the Messiah, our Lord, because with my mind I myself can serve the Law of God, even while with my human nature I serve the law of sin.
So let us be sold out unplugged followers of Jesus The Christ and when that fleshy Adamic nature tries to rise up, let us have the strength of conviction to say “Not my will BUT THY will be done!”
Parallel Business Principles
A lot of people do not understand the Network Marketing industry and many people have ignorant opinions of it. It would be a lot easier sometimes not to do it and just do what other people think you should be doing. However the Network Marketing entrepreneur thinks differently and does not let the opinions of others, loose their focus of the end goal.
Any truly successful person at some point in their life had to go against the gain and not conform, the majority of people do not have that sense of conviction and this is why the majority of people in any profession are not massively successful.
However there is a remnant of people, who truly get unplugged and because of that, their mindset is completely different and they go on to be extremely successful.
Only you know whether or not that is you, but just as long as you put God first in your business and are ready to do the activity and you say “not my will but thy will be done in my business” then God will truly order your steps!
So let us go out there and show the marketplace what God can do through he people that trust in him!
