We are called to be completely dependent on God but interdependent on each other, this is why it is so important that as fellow brothers and sisters of the faith that we are united.
Psa 133:1 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! Eph 4:3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. Eph 4:4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; Eph 4:5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, Eph 4:6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. When we fellowship together, we bring all of our personal experiences into one place and we are able to encourage one another and see how God has been working in each one of our lives. It helps to sharpen us as we share testimony of God’s goodness. We need to understand as believers that we are not on our own in this walk with God but we are part of a larger community of people who through the bond of love are there for each other. That community is strengthen and identified through love. Therefore if there is someone who says they are part of the community but the way they live their lives is not out of a core motive of love, then they identify themselves as not being part of that community, no matter what comes out of their mouths. Joh 13:35 By this all shall know that you are My disciples, if you have love toward one another. My family and I had the privilege and spending the day last week with a family who are part of my team. We went to their church in the morning, we broke bread afterwards and we relaxed in their home sharing life experiences and talking about the goodness of God. On reflecting on that time I began to realise that this is a family that I did not know before, but through the bond of love, we are going to know each other throughout the whole of eternity. Some of the most precious times we can have on this planet is when we are fellowshipping with other believers in the presence of the most High God. Paul knew this and you can sense his longing for fellowship when you read some of his letters sometimes to encourage and other times to correct: 1Co 1:10 Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment. 1Co 11:2 Now I praise you, brethren, that ye remember me in all things, and keep the ordinances, as I delivered them to you. 1Co 11:33 Wherefore, my brethren, when ye come together to eat, tarry one for another. 1Co 14:26 How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying. Gal 4:20 I desire to be present with you now, and to change my voice; for I stand in doubt of you. Php 3:17 Brothers, be imitators together of me, and mark those who walk this way, for you have us for a pattern. Php 3:18 (For many are walking, of whom I have told you often and now tell you even weeping, as the enemies of the cross of Christ; 1Th 2:17 But, my brothers, when we were taken away from you for an hour's time (in presence, not in heart), more abundantly we were eager with much desire to see your face. You can sense Paul’s passion for the people he is writing to and his desire to have fellowship with them. When believers come together there is power in that dynamic and this is why the enemy does not want us to fellowship together. However God called us to fellowship, so never lets us neglect the coming together of the saints of God. Parallel Principles Coming together to share stories: This is the power of our business and why it works. The people who grow the largest cheques with Reliv and the people who learn how to share the most amount of stories. Encouraging one another: There is a statement that you hear some ambassadors say and that is “When you are feeling down, you speak to your upline and when you are feeling up you speak to your downline” We are in a people’s business, so the more you learn about people is more successful you will be. This is why it is so important in our Reliv businesses that we come together on the Tuesday’s and Saturday’s and on the Monday Call. Helping one another: Reliv is unique in that we work cross lines, you do not have to be financially connected with someone for that person to help you. That is an attitude of giving and as the scriptures say, “if you give you shall receive.” Supporting Another: The way the company has designed their comp plan is in such a way that, if you are not helping other people to grow, your success is limited. This is why it is so important to be able to identify you goals and then take yourself out of the equation and help someone else achieve theirs. Working together: Remember, all boats rise with the tide. Loving another: Love is the most powerful force on the planet, so if you want to infuse your business with the ultimate power source, when make sure everything you do in your business is out of the core motive of LOVE. ******************************************************************* Jason Gregory Mentor to people in their health and finances www.visionarys.ws ********************************************************************
