We have all been called for a purpose and God has given us gifts and talents to fulfill that purpose. We are all individual and unique and that is why we need to embrace who we are and not try to be something we are not.
You are the right man/woman for the job! Many times we look at things through the eyes of our own limitations instead of looking through the eyes of God’s unlimited possibilities. We hold ourselves back through fear instead of operating in faith. However faith is the thing that causes God’s hand to move and fear holds it back: Heb 11:6 Now without faith it is impossible to please God, for whoever comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who diligently search for him. If God chose you before the foundations of the world to good works, why do you doubt his ability to fulfill it in you? Eph 1:3 The Many Blessings of Salvation Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus, the Messiah! He has blessed us in the Messiah with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm, Eph 1:4 just as he chose us in the Messiah before the creation of the universe to be holy and blameless in his presence. In love Eph 1:5 he predestined us for adoption to himself through Jesus the Messiah, according to the pleasure of his will, Eph 1:6 so that we would praise his glorious grace that he gave us in the Beloved One. Eph 1:7 In union with him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our offenses, according to the riches of God’s grace Eph 1:8 that he lavished on us, along with all wisdom and understanding, Eph 1:9 when he made known to us the secret of his will. This was according to his plan that he set forth in the Messiah Eph 1:10 to usher in the fullness of the times and to bring together in the Messiah all things in heaven and on earth. Eph 1:11 In the Messiah we were also chosen when we were predestined according to the purpose of the one who does everything that he wills to do, So we should never forget this: Php 1:6 I am convinced of this, that the one who began a good action among you will bring it to completion by the Day of the Messiah Jesus. You are the right man/woman for the job! A good example of a person who started off in fear but ended up in faith is Gideon, he really doubted the fact that God could use him because he thought he was insignificant. He was looking through the eyes of fear instead of through the eyes of God’s unlimited possibilities: Jdg 6:11 Gideon is Visited by the Angel of the LORD After this, the angel of the LORD arrived and sat down in the shade of the oak tree in Ophrah that belonged to Joash, a descendant of Abiezer, while his son Gideon was threshing wheat in a wine press in order to safeguard it from the Midianites. Jdg 6:12 The angel of the LORD appeared to him and told him, “The LORD is with you, you valiant warrior!” Jdg 6:13 But Gideon replied, “Right… Sir, if the LORD is with us, then why has all of this happened to us? And where are all of his miraculous works that our ancestors recounted to us when they said, ‘The LORD brought us up from Egypt, didn’t he?’ But now the LORD has abandoned us and given us over to Midian!” Jdg 6:14 The LORD looked straight at him and replied, “Go with this determination of yours and deliver Israel from Midian’s domination. I’ve directed you, haven’t I?” Jdg 6:15 “Right…,” Gideon responded. “Sir, how will I deliver Israel? Look—my family is the weakest in Manasseh, and I’m the youngest in my father’s household.” He was the right man for the job even if he did not know it yet and God’s grace was such that he allowed him to go through the process of beginning in fear and ending up in faith. Even when God proved himself to him, Gideon still doubted, but God still allowed him to go through the process: Jdg 6:36 Gideon Asks for a Sign from God Then Gideon told God, “If you intend to deliver Israel by my efforts as you’ve said, Jdg 6:37 then take a look at this wool fleece that I’m placing on the threshing floor. If dew appears only on the fleece—and it’s dry on the ground all around it—then I’ll know that you’ll deliver Israel by my efforts like you’ve said.” Jdg 6:38 And that is what happened: When he got up early the next morning, he wrung out the fleece to drain the dew from it and extracted a bowl full of water. Jdg 6:39 Then Gideon told God, “Don’t let yourself be angry with me! I want to ask you once again: please let me make a test with the fleece just once more. Cause it to be dry only on the fleece, but let there be dew all around on the ground.” Jdg 6:40 And God did it just like that later that night. It was dry only on the fleece, but dew was all around on the ground. Eventually Gibeon was able to defeat an army of thousands with only 300 hundred men. God knows the end from the beginning, so he know where you are in your faith right now, but he also knows where your are going to be and he give you grace for your individual journey. You are the right man/woman for the job! Parallel Business Principles Many times when people start something new, they always have the fear of failure in the heads and if they are not able to get rid of it, that fear of failure will stop them from progressing past a certain point. If you try to build a Reliv business with that fear of failure in your head, it will not work, because people will be able to sense your doubt when you talk to them about business and when you talk to them about the product. You have to understand that you are the right man/woman for the job and you need to develop the right level of posture so that you can communicate that effectively. The initial fear a new person has should cause them to be teachable and plug into the system. However unfortunately that initial fear in many cases causes people to make excuses why they cannot plug into the system. This results in them being unproductive and eventually leaving the business. If a person has a passion for helping people and changing their lifestyle and they join the Reliv business, that is the only seed they need. After that it is the Reliv system, starting with their upline, which is going to water that seed and help it to spring forth, and because God knows the end from the beginning, he will give you the grace for your own individual Reliv journey.
