The Word Of God
As Christians there are some fundamental beliefs that are without question that form the foundation of our core perspective of salvation and they are:
These should be unquestionable truths for the person who confesses to being a born again believer in Jesus Christ. However you will be surprised of how many people and organisations that call themselves Christian that do not hold these fundamental core beliefs. There has been countless debates over years of whether or not the Bible can be trusted and is the unchanged word of God. Even with the overwhelming evidence through all of the ancient manuscripts, that the Bible is the only book in antiquity that can be traced back and verified, not just through our own manuscripts, which we have thousands, but also through other historical sources to prove that the events are true and can be dated to only a few years of the actual events taking place. This shows if you are not going to trust the Bible, then you shouldn’t trust any historical book at all. With all the evidence people still question it as being the only God breathed truth of God. 1Pe 2:7 Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner, 1Pe 2:8 And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed. 1Pe 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: The word has always been attacked and will always be attacked, this is why it is so important for people to not only know the word for themselves, but also prove the word for themselves. Next you will be surprised how many people would call themselves Christian who do not believe that Jesus was God in the flesh. This is so important to our salvation, because if Jesus was not God then his messages that he gave us while he was walking on the earth were extremely blasphemous. He prescribed onto himself things that should only be prescribed onto God, this is why the religious leaders of the day wanted him killed. Not only that but his disciples did the same, Compare Philippians 2 v 5-11 and Isaiah 45 v 22 -24 Php 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Php 2:6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: Php 2:7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: Php 2:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Php 2:9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: Php 2:10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; Php 2:11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Isa 45:22 Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else. Isa 45:23 I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear. Isa 45:24 Surely, shall one say, in the LORD have I righteousness and strength: even to him shall men come; and all that are incensed against him shall be ashamed. So to deny the deity of Christ is to deny the very power of your salvation, no matter how sincere you are. Finally, there are people that would call themselves believers who do not believe Jesus died on a cross but on a stake and they also believe that he did not rise in the flesh but as a spirit being. Again this fundamental belief is important to our salvation and without it our faith is meaningless: 1Co 15:17 And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins. 1Co 15:18 Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished. 1Co 15:19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable. So understand the foundations on you faith, because people and situations will try to shake it on a daily basis. There is only one way to God and that journey WILL come with many challenges and so I a person is not willing to deny themselves, take up their cross of follow him (in other words understand their journey is unique to them and their person challenges will not be the same as other peoples, but they are will to follow and trust God no matte what), then they will not make it. Parallel Business Principles The truth about Network Marketing has been clouded by lies and misconceptions in regards to what it takes to be successful. There are some fundamental things that people need to do and know in order to make it: They need to understand that this is work and not a get rich quick scheme. They need to know that they WILL get challenged They have to understand it is going to take Consistency, Persistency and Determination They have to be willing to be teachable They have to be prepared to teach others Final they need to follow a proven system. Once a person has the right expectations and perspective for their business, they now have the basic building blocks on which to build. ********************************* Jason Gregory Business Coach & Mentor Reliv *********************************
