How do people see you? That is an important question, every single believer needs to ask themselves on a daily basis.
Our lives are meant to be different from the lives of non-Christians, there is meant to be a noticeable difference. If you can be around group of people for a good amount of time and they do not notice that there is something different about you, I think you seriously need to question your Christianity. Joh_15:19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. So many people do not want to rock the boat, they do not want to take a definitive stand against the things that are against God, but they want a nice problem free life. Well that is not what you signed up for when you became a Christian. Jesus went against the grain and he did not try to conform, but he knew his message would transform people’s lives. He called us to do the same, this is why we have to deny ourselves, take up our cross and follow him (Matthew 16:24) The message in the world is ‘there is no God’ and the reason why the enemy promotes this message so much is because, if he can get people to believe this, then people can set the levels of their own morality. So you have education promoting a Godless world, trying to use science to back up their presupposition. Then you have the media reinforcing their message indirectly by the types of entertainment they produce. This is why it is so important that as Christians we know what to stand for. Col_2:8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. The first place in the Bible the followers of Jesus were called Christians was in a place call Antioch and this was because the people of the town observed them over time, saw that they were different and they gave them that name. So you do not have to walk around with a big T-shirt saying “ I’m a Christian, I’m a Christian”, but the way you live your live should be such that people say “There goes a Christian!” Act 11:26 And when he had found him, he brought him to Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch. You see I can stand in a garage all day long and shout at the top of my voice, “I’m a car!” This still will not make me a car. So it is with our Christianity, it is not what we say, it is how we live, that determines our Christianity. It is impossible to become a Christian and your lifestyle remains the same. So what do people see, when they look at your life? Parallel Business Principals In order to build a Reliv business effectively, you have to be a person of integrity; your integrity will be the foundation of everything you do in your business. It will determine whether or not you plug into the system because in order to effectively help someone to build their business, you have to do the things to build ours. It will also determine whether or not you do effective follow up with your customers/distributors. You cannot tell someone to do something you are not prepared to do yourself, that does not show integrity. So when people see you building your Reliv business, do they say, “There goes a person with integrity”, or do they say “That person really does not care what happens to me in this business or on this products?” Build with integrity, and the more success you have, give all the glory to God! **************************************** Jason Gregory Business Coach & Mentor Reliv ****************************************
