Is Sincerity Enough?
There are many people Christians out there that are sincere in their faith and yet they are not living the overcoming life, so why is that.
You can believe that Jesus is your Lord and Savior; you can believe that he died for your sins and rose again. You can believe that he is coming back for you and that you are going to be with him for eternity. This is your surety as a believer; however there are still laws and principals that you need to apply in order to overcome certain challenges in this life.
Joh 10:10 The thief comes only to steal, slaughter, and destroy. I have come that they may have life, and have it abundantly.
So if Jesus came to give us the abundant life, then if there are areas of your life where you are not living that abundance of life, then there are some laws and principals that need to be applied to that particular area.
Unfortunately many Christians are too eager to just aspect their lot in life and say statements like “oh well God knows everything” and they use that as a cop out of actually studying God’s word to see what he has actually said about that particular area, so they can apply the laws and principals.
The fact is some of us are too lazy and that laziness causes us to fall short in particular areas of life:
Pro 6:9 How long will you lie down, lazy man?
When will you get up from your sleep?
Pro 6:10 A little sleep, a little slumber,
a little folding of the hands to rest,
Pro 6:11 and your poverty will come on you like a bandit
and your desperation like an armed man.
Laziness will not just affect you financially; it will effect you emotionally, physically, intellectually and socially. These are all the things that make up a holistic life:
3Jn 1:2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
You see it is not enough to just prayer for a situation to change; you also have to be willing to take action. We have the confidence to know that if God be for us who can be against us.
God has given us certain promises and one of them is if we put him first, he will bless the work of our hands. He is also a God of grace and even though we may make mistakes, he is faith and just to bring us back on track.
God knows the thoughts he has towards us, and these thoughts are good not evil, to give us an expected end and even though sometimes our current situation does not seem like the best, he has promised us that all things work together for the good for those who love him and are called according to his purposes. This is why we walk by faith and not by sight.
Remember there are many people in many different religions that are truly sincere in what they belief, however what separates the believers in the Lord Jesus Christ is that we serve the true and living God. So we need to believe his word and apply his word.
We know that he is a healer, a provider, a protector, a councilor, a comforter etc so we need to take that knowledge and couple it with actions to be able to reap the rewards of having access to such a great God.
Parallel Business Principals
There are many people that join business opportunities and are sincere about wanting to change their situations, however because of their lack of action, they do not go beyond a certain point.
God has promised to bless the WORK of their hand not their laziness. It is not enough to say , “God I am a Christian so bless me” because God said in his word:
Gal 6:7 Stop being deceived; God is not to be ridiculed. A person harvests whatever he plants:
This means our actions or lack of action will result in the proportionate harvest. So if our businesses are not where we want it to be, then we have to be honest with ourselves and ask ourselves “What actions are we taking in our businesses on a daily basis to change things?”
Success begins with honesty and continues in action.
If we trust in God and have the right motives coupled with the right action, then why would he not make us successful?

Once we accept Jesus as our Lord and survivor we become part of his great commission, which is to going into all the world and preach the gospel.
Mar 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
We are not saved to keep the gospel message to ourselves, but we are to share it however we can. If a person thinks they can just keep their Christianity to themselves, they are sadly mistaken and they are not demonstrating the heart of God.
Mat 10:7 And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.
Mat 10:8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.
Even though this initial verse in context was Jesus sending his disciples firstly to the lost sheep of Israel, this still falls in line with the ultimate great commission to go into all the world and preach the gospel.
Some people are called into specific places, for example, you may be called into the Prison Ministry or you may to called into the ministry of looking after the homeless. Your ministry maybe more contemporary like running a football club which you use to direct to boys in the ways of the Lord, and it also can be more traditional like going door to door. Whatever your calling is, it does make you more saved then anyone else, because we are saved by grace through faith, it is a gift of God not of works so that anyone can boast about what they do (Ephesians 2:8-9)
The gospel message is a love letter from the creator to his creation; it is a message that if people really took the time to truly evaluate it, it would touch their hearts in a life changing way.
The saddest thing is, a lot of people do not take the time to evaluate it and that is why we need to demonstrate through our lives that love letter:
Mat 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
Sometimes the only Christ people are going to initially see is the Christ in us and the only Church people are going to initial attend is a conversation with us, remember we are the church!
If we are not telling people about the gospel, you can be guaranteed that they are getting some other kind of message from some other kind of spirit. Remember when we were initially created, we where created to be spirit lead:
Gen 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
So if we are not being guided be the Holy Spirit of God, then some other spirit is guiding us.
We are in a world full of lost misguided souls and so our mission field is where ever we are. Do not keep this message to yourself because the message is bigger than you or me, it is bigger than your fear to open your mouth and it is bigger than the initial response you get back. So be an active member in the body of Christ and a true soldier in the army of God!
Parallel Business Principles
Network Marketing should be so relatable to the Christians because it is built on ever similar parallel principles.
So how do we build our business?
We build our businesses by going into the world and giving a message of hope to people. The people who respond to the message we then recruit as distributors (parallel to making disciples). We then teach and train them to do the same thing as well as establishing a customer base by immersing them into the system, which supports them and empowers them to continue and take on the world (parallel principle to baptism in full immersion).
This is why if someone does not get fully actively involved in the system needed to build their business, they we not be able to build it no matter how sincere they are.
This is why the message your always hear from the leaders in Reliv is the System, the system, the system!
