As individuals we choose the environment in which we live, even if a negative environment was forced on us, we choose whether or not to stay there or to work hard to take ourselves out of there.
However with the right attitude you can thrive in whatever environment you live in. Not all environments are initially our choosing, e.g Joseph in the Old Testament was sold into slavery by his brothers. He did not choose that environment but it was forced on him, however because he was faithful to God he thrived in the house where he was a slave. Even when he was falsely accused of something and put into prison, he thrived in that environment also: Genesis 39: 2-5 2 And Jehovah was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian. 3 And his master saw that Jehovah was with him, and that Jehovah made all that he did to prosper in his hand. 4 And Joseph found favor in his sight, and he ministered unto him: and he made him overseer over his house, and all that he had he put into his hand. 5 And it came to pass from the time that he made him overseer in his house, and over all that he had, that Jehovah blessed the Egyptian's house for Joseph's sake; and the blessing of Jehovah was upon all that he had, in the house and in the field Verses 20 – 23 20 And Joseph's master took him, and put him into the prison, the place where the king's prisoners were bound: and he was there in the prison. 21 But Jehovah was with Joseph, and showed kindness unto him, and gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison. 22 And the keeper of the prison committed to Joseph's hand all the prisoners that were in the prison; and whatsoever they did there, he was the doer of it. 23 The keeper of the prison looked not to anything that was under his hand, because Jehovah was with him; and that which he did, Jehovah made it prosper Having God in your life allows you to overcome whatever challenge this life throws at you, because when you are in a true relationship with God, you know that no matter what he is in control. It is like being in your home with the warmth of the central heating on, sitting down in a comfortable chair reading a good book. You are not concerned about how cold it is outside because you are protected by the strength of the building. Life is challenging and one minute you can be in a good environment and next minute your environment can change, but even when that happens, this is not a time to loose faith or become disillusioned with God because sometimes these things come to test our faith. Pushing through in these situations causes you to thrive in your environment. Unfortunately too many people use their current environment as an excuse and a justification why they are not trusting God or why they are not doing the things they should be doing. However the only thing excuses do is take us out of God's will for our life. If God can make Israel thrive in a negative environment e.g. When God was judging Egypt with the plagues but none of the plagues entered into Goshen where Israel was staying. Or if God can protect Daniel for a whole night in a pit with hungry lions, which is a very negative environment, then God will bring you through as well! Your current environment is not your destiny, it is just a pits stop in the journey towards it! God has placed all of his laws and principals in his word to show you and me how to live a victorious life and thrive within our environments and this is why we should study the word to show ourselves approved and rightly divide the word of truth. If we do not do this then we will struggle and struggle and then blame God saying “Why is God allowing this to happen to me?” God has given us his living word so that we can deal with all aspects of our life, so lets not transform his living word to empty text on a page, simply because we cannot be bothered to study it and more importantly, apply it! Parallel Principals You may be in a place where you are struggling in your health or your finances or even both, but that is not the environment where you have to stay. You can change that environment by applying yourself and focuses on doing the right things. It always amazes me when doing this Reliv business when speaking to Christian prospects, they tell you that they have really being praying for an answer to their health and their finances, then God somehow connects you to them. You share Reliv with them, which deals with their health and finances, then they say, “I've got to go and pray about it!” then you do not hear from them again and when you do see them again, they are still struggling. Too many people treat God like a lottery ticket hoping their numbers will come up, so they can have a easy life. However even when God brought the children of Israel out of Egypt and into the promised land, a land that was already inhabited by hostile people. He said to them “ Here is your land, now go and possess it!” We have a part to play in our success, it is not all on God, so if we are not doing our part, we are limiting what God can do in our lives. ******************************************** Jason Gregory Business Coach & Mentor Reliv ********************************************

There are many people that are quick to give you their advice, however is their advice worth taking onboard?
We need to really evaluate which advice to listen you, is it coming from above or is it coming from below. God is all knowing and all powerful, this is why when we get knowledge from him it is called an understanding because we fall under his knowledge. God himself has an overstanding because he knows all. There are people in this world who try to position themselves as God and claim to have an overstanding of things and try to advise other people to do the same: Romans 1: 28 -32 28 Furthermore, because they did not think it worthwhile to keep knowing God fully, God delivered them to degraded minds to perform acts that should not be done. 29 They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed, and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, quarreling, deceit, and viciousness. They are gossips, 30 slanderers, God- haters, haughty, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to their parents, 31 foolish, faithless, heartless, ruthless. 32 Although they know God's just requirement- that those who practice such things deserve to die- they not only do these things but even applaud others who practice them. There are many religions in the world that would try and give their advice as to why their way is the right way, but whose advice are you going to take? If you look at these religions, they have a moral code to live by, but are morals enough? They have logical systems to follow but is logic enough? They have good works that they practice e.g helping the poor, but are good works enough? These so called gods are either statues made by man as a result of folklore and legioned or one man's idea, passed on through oral tradition or a result of looking at the power of nature and worshiping it instead of the creator of nature. So whose advice are you going to take? The advice of a dead statue, the advice of a man with a hidden agenda or the advice of someone who worships the elements? I would rather take the advice of the God who created the materials that was used to make the statue, the God that created the man who had the hidden agenda and the God who created the elements. This same God who proved his love for me personally and every other human being on the planet, when he came down to where we were, to experience life how we experience it. To suffer how we suffer, to die how we die, but who rose from the dead to show us that he has power over death, so that through him we can live! That's the God I want to serve and that is the advice I want to take: Romans 10: 8 – 11 8 But what does it say? "The message is near you. It is in your mouth and in your heart." This is the message about faith that we are proclaiming: 9 If you declare with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For one believes with his heart and is justified, and declares with his mouth and is saved. 11 The Scripture says, "Everyone who believes in him will never be ashamed." Unfortunately even in our Christian circles there are people that will try and give their advice, but as with all advice you have to look at the foundation of where the advice is coming from. So for instance you have the Jehovah Witnesses who teach that the Watch Tower is God's holy organisation on earth and they are the “little flock” that Jesus spoke about. They also teach that Jesus was not God in the flesh but the Arch Angel Michael. This is why as believer we should study the bible for ourselves so that we can get the right advice, because if you do not people can bring plausible augments to you that will draw you in and drawing you in it will take you further away from God 2 Timothy 2:15 15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth Hebrews 1 : 10-13 10 And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands: 11 They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment; 12 And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail. 13 But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool? 14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation If this scripture is correct how could Jesus being the Arch Angel Michael? So whose advice are you going to take? Be care even in so called Christian organisations and movements, make sure you are getting a correct understanding instead of an incorrect overstanding! Parallel Principals There are many people that will try and give you advice about your financial future, however before you take their advice, ask yourself the question,”Do they have any experience in what they are talking about?” if they have then ask yourself “Were they successful in it?” If the answer is no, then do not take their advice onboard. People have their opinions about Network Marketing and they have their opinions about Nutrition and if you take onboard other people's opinions you will never be able to form your own. Reliv is a vehicle that if used correctly can take you where you want to go, however if you do not learn to drive it, you will not even get passed your driveway. You have to be teachable in order to grow a Reliv Business and you have to be ready to go to work. So make sure you are listening to the right advice because the right advice could be the difference between success or failure. *********************************** Jason Gregory Business Coach & Mentor Reliv *********************************** When a person is determined to do something and they have made up in their mind that they will do it, they will make a way not matter what.
Challenges do not stop determined people, they just make them more creative. As Christians when we accept Christ into our lives, we determine in our heart and mind that our lives will never be the same again. We put ourselves in the position where we can be directed by the Holy Spirit. A truly born again person is a person who is completely sold out to the things of God. They understand that no matter how difficult things get, there is no turning back and revert to their old way of living because they have died to that life: 2 Corinthian 5: 17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new God takes broken lives and he fixes them, he doesn't just patch them up, he completely restores them. However that does not mean that the pressure to break them again has gone away. We live in a world system that is completely hostile to the things of God. In this world, what is bad is called good and what is good is seen as bad. So a true Christian’s life is going to stick out like a sore thumb. We live in the world but we are not of the world. Because of this a Christian wanting to live right is going to face all kinds of challenges at home, at school, at college, at work and even in the church! However they will not let the challenges break them: 2 Corinthians 4: 8- 11 8 In every way we're troubled but not crushed, frustrated but not in despair, 9 persecuted but not abandoned, struck down but not destroyed. 10 We are always carrying around the death of Jesus in our bodies, so that the life of Jesus may be clearly shown in our bodies. 11 While we are alive, we are constantly being handed over to death for Jesus 'sake, so that the life of Jesus may be clearly shown in our mortal bodies When Mose's sent some men to spy out the land which they were going into, 10 came back with a negative report and only 2 came back with a positive on: Number 13: 29 - 33 29 The Amalekites live in the land of the Negev; the Hittites, Jebusites, and Amorites live in the hill country; and the Canaanites live by the sea and along the banks of the Jordan. 30 Then Caleb silenced the people before Moses, saying, Let us go up and occupy it, for we are well able to conquer it. 31 But the men a who had gone up with him said, We are not able to go up against these people, because they are stronger than we are! 32 Then they presented the Israelites with a discouraging report of the land they had investigated, saying, The land that we passed through to investigate is a land that devours its inhabitants. All the people we saw there are of great stature. 33 We even saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak came from the Nephilim), and we seemed liked grasshoppers both to ourselves and to them. There are some people that will use the challenges of life as an excuse not to even try, so if they are struggling in a certain area of life and they know someone who is calls themselves a Christian who does the very same thing they are struggling with, they use that as a justification to continue to do what they are doing. However we all have to be aware that we individually answer to God and so the only behaviour we can control, is our own. Phillipians 2:12 12 And so, my dear friends, just as you have always obeyed, not only when I was with you but even more now that I am absent, continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling So be determined to overcome no matter what so that the light of Christ can shine through you! Parallel Principals If some decides they are going to make a success of their Reliv business, they need to be determined no matter what. Excuses should not come out of their mouth, they should just find away around the problem. Every single one of us are going to get challenged doing this business, we are going to get stretched and whether a person succeeds or fails will be dependent on how determined they are to succeed. I met a lady this weekend who builds her Reliv business from Calcutta in India, she plugs into as many elements of the system she can. That means getting up early in the mornings to listen to conference call and going to bed late to doing 3 way calls with her prospects that are in the countries where Reliv operates out of. She has gone to International conference and this weekend she was at MATs School in Germany! There are so people in the UK or USA that will not even turn up to their local system and complain when they are not being successful. This lady was blown away when she looked in her account and saw $1500 paid to her by Reliv. You see she is a Missionary and her and her husband have been missionaries for 25 years relying on the blessing of others to live. However she pray to God for an answer for their finances and God through a friend answered it with Reliv. She is determined to succeed despite her challenges and God is honouring that. This is because Faithfulness is God's requirement and Fruitfulness is his reward! Excuses are a foreign language to successful people but they are everyday speech to people that never accomplish anything. Be sold out to your own success and be prepared for the challenges ahead so that through the challenge you will develop to the place you were destined to be. *********************************************** Jason Gregory Business Coach & Mentor Reliv *********************************************** |
