As Christians we understand that our sins have been washed away by the cleansing blood of Jesus. His sacrifice paid the price for our sin, a price that none of us could afford. This is why salvation is not dependent on what we do, it is dependent on what Jesus did.
Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. This does not mean that we do not have a responsibility to live right before God. When God saved us he called us into a personal relationship with him and with any relationship, it starts at a point and it grows with time. If a person is not growing in their relationship with God, then they are not in a relationship with God, they are not saved, because a result of being saved is a relationship. We need to work out our relationship with God on a daily basis, some days we will feel closer to God than others, but everyday we should recognize that we are in a relationship we our heavenly father: Philippians 2:12-13 Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure. Many people try to look holy by being religious, so in front of people it’s “Amen” and “Praise the Lord” and yet behind closed doors it is “!”@♯!” They are at church every Sunday, but fornicate on Monday. They could even hold a position in the church and because of their position feel that they are better than the congregation or even use their position to exploit the congregation. However Paul was saying to the church at Philippi, it is pointless to just act the part, you have to BE the part. When Paul said to “workout the salvation with fear and trembling” he understood that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom (Proverbs 9:10) and wisdom and knowledge work well together. Our relationship with God will grow as we grow and our personal growth will be determined by how much of the word we apply into our lives. When we get saved, we make that initial decision but we still have issues to deal with, we still think a certain way and this is why the first thing God has to focus on is our minds, because “As a man thinks in he heart, so is he” (Proverbs 23:7) We need to be transformed in our minds because as this happens everything else will fall into line. So working out our salvation is not doing good works to get to heaven, because nothing we would do could ever be good enough. It is about working out our relationship with our heavenly father on a day-to-day basis. Once we are doing that, we will have the confidence to know our heavenly daddy will always come through for us. Parallel Business Principals As people building a business, we need to grow personally, we need to learn more about people, we need to change the way we think. One of the things I do with my distributors is, I have created a training site and on the site there are a number of video’s of inspiring motivational stuff to do with our industry. Why I did that is because a new distributor needs to change the way they think, because if they do not, eventually they will quit. They have to work out their “WHY”, everyday day or else they will not even get active. It is pointless acting like a distributor at a special event or conference; you have to be a distributor in the field on a day-to-day basis. Our driving force in building this business should be to see people helped in either health or finances or both, so if we change our thinking to that, then we will never have to worry about making an income with Reliv, the money will be there. ************************************ Jason Gregory Business Coach & Mentor Reliv ************************************

In today’s world, people need to know what to stand for because if they do not, they will fall for anything. We live in an age where everything has a Christian tag on it, there is Christian movies, music, TV, Books etc, all of which is good because they are platforms in which the gospel is being preached. However then you have the other side: Christian night clubs, Christian Bars, Christian Humanist, Christian Scientology, Christian gays, Christian Cults, certain TV preachers etc, all of which pervert the gospel message.
A very sobering message is the one Jesus gave in Matthew 7:21 – 23 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name? ’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness Jesus was speaking as God in the flesh and knew what was to come in the future, so this shows us that not everything that has a Christian tag to it is going to be Christian. This is why it is so important for anyone who calls themselves a Christian to know the word for themselves, because if we do not know the word for ourselves, how can we judge what we see and hear against the truth? Many people are deceived simply because of ignorance. The bible says that the Holy Spirit will teach us and lead us into all truth, but how can he lead us when we do not even step on the path of discovery. He can only draw out from us what we first put in and this is what we can use to test things: 1John 4:1-4 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you heard was coming and now is in the world already. Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world The path of true Biblical Christianity is the road less trod, many people see Christianity as a way to get all of the needs met or they say they are Christian because they believe if you go to church you are a Christian. To some people it is just a religious exercise that helps them to feel good about themselves and to others it is just a way of making money. However true Christianity is none of these things, Jesus said in Mathhew 5 verse 3 ““Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven” Someone who is poor in spirit is someone who has come to the place where they understand that they need a heart transplant. Someone who understands they are a sinner who NEEDS a savior. Someone who recognizes that for years they have been led by the wrong spirit and they need to be born again and led by the Holy Spirit. Jesus said when someone comes to that knowledge; theirs is the kingdom of heaven. From that point on the Christian journey is one of daily dying to self and all the things that the flesh wants to do, no matter how badly the flesh wants to do it. Galatians 5: 19-21 Now the works of the flesh are evident:sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. So it does not matter how many times a person says they are a Christian, if their lifestyle reflects the qualities just mentored, they could have the title of a Pastor, Vicar or Bishop, they are NOT a Christian. Matthew 7:13-14 “Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few Parallel Business Principals The road to success in building a Reliv business is one that not everyone is prepared to travel. Many people join Reliv on the promise of financial freedom, however once on the journey they realize that the road is not as easy as they thought. At this point the true motive and the strength of their WHY, is going to have to kick in or else they will quit. Not everyone is cut out to be an entrepreneur because entrepreneurs have to be able to endure hardship and keep on going. The road of the true entrepreneur is the road less trod. In Reliv the true distributor is the one who has a passion for helping other people as well as a passion for changing their own financial situations. If those TWO element are not in place, then a person is not a true Reliv distributor but they are a true Reliv Wholesale customer. People should understand from the beginning, building a Reliv business is not going to be easy, but it will be worth it! *************************************************** Jason Gregory Business Coach & Mentor Reliv *************************************************** |
