Trusting God Through The Unexpected
Life has a tendency to throw challenges at us that we were not expecting; some of these challenges are more testing than others. The one thing that can be guaranteed in life is the challenges will come! So need to know how the respond to the challenges, because we can either fall to pieces or we can fall to our knees. The enemy wants us the fall to pieces because he knows if we do that, then there is an area of a lack of faith that he can continue to attack. The enemy uses tests and temptations as way to test the vulnerabilities in the lives of the believer and once he find it, there is an onslaught in that area. So a lot of times we think these tests have come out of the blue, when in fact they are a result of strategic planning. This is why our everyday walk with God is so important, we have to constantly be asking God the search us, just like David did: Psa 139:23 Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: Psa 139:24 And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. Our walk with God starts with faith, has to continue through faith and needs to end in faith. So the thing the enemy will try to attack is your faith, he will try to get you to doubt God or question the truth of the word of God. If he can do that you will no longer believe the promises of God concerning you, so you will look to alternatives for strength and comfort. When we do that, we step out of our covering, which is what the enemy wanted us to do, because now he has the legally right to attack us. You see he can test us while we are under God’s covering but he cannot overcome us, but outside of the covering of God he can destroy us: Luke 22:31-32 “Simon, Simon, listen! Satan has asked permission to sift all of you like wheat, Luk 22:32 but I have prayed for you that your own faith may not fail. When you have come back, you must strengthen your brothers.” So how do we respond to the unexpected challenge? Well first of all we respond through faith because that is how we should be living our lives: Heb 11:6 Now without faith it is impossible to please God, for whoever comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who diligently search for him. Secondly we need to seek God about the situation because that is putting faith into action. Next we should not fear the situation because fear neutralizes faith: 2Ti 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. Timothy wrote these words when unexpectedly some of his team left him as he was going through a trial. Our trust in God should be unshakeable even when we cannot see the end of the problem: 2Co 5:7 For we live by faith, not by sight. We have to trust that God has everything under control and when any thought tries to contradict that, we have to place those thoughts into captivity in the authority of Jesus name and speak to them the word of God and good strong word is the words of Isaiah: Isa 46:8 “Remember this, and stand firm; take it again to heart, you rebels. Isa 46:9 Remember the former things from long ago, Because I am God, and there is no one else; I am God, and there is none like me. Isa 46:10 I declare from the beginning things to follow, and from ancient times things that have not yet been done; saying, ‘My purpose will stand, and he will accomplish everything that I please.’ Isa 46:11 I am calling a bird of prey from the east, and from a far country a man with his purpose. Indeed, I’ve spoken; I will certainly make it happen; I’ve planned it; and I will certainly carry it out. So we stand on the word of God and in doing that it will strengthen our faith, which will in turn cause us to respond well to the unexpected! Parallel Business Principals In our business always expect the unexpected because we are dealing with people and people can do very unpredictable. This is why we need to work closely as a team so we can strengthen each other through our experiences. You may feel you are the only person going through certain situations but when you work with the team, you will discover many people go through similar situations. The strength is in the team and not in the individual, so do not try and build your Reliv business by yourself! Remember the enemy wants to Kill, Steal and Destroy you in all areas of your life including your Reliv business, so let God be the CEO of your business and allow him to direct you! *********************************** Jason Gregory Business Coach & Mentor Reliv ***********************************

As human beings the one thing we have in common is, we were all created to worship, this is something that not even the atheist can escape from.
We are designed to be spirit lead: Gen 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. So our soul, which is our intellect, our emotions and our will, was activated by the spirit of God and therefore was designed to be lead by the spirit of God. Originally everything we did was to be an act of worship in complete obedience to the will of God, but the fall in the Garden of Eden changed all of that. The relationship between God and Man was severed as a result of sin. At this point true worship became corrupt as man served to please himself: Gen 4:3 Later, Cain brought an offering to the Lord from the fruit that he had harvested, Gen 4:4 while Abel offered the best parts of some of the firstborn from his flock. The Lord looked favorably upon Abel and his offering, Gen 4:5 but he did not look favorably upon Cain and his offering. When Cain became very upset and depressed, Gen 4:6 the Lord asked Cain, “Why are you so upset? Why are you depressed? Gen 4:7 If you do what is appropriate, you’ll be accepted, won’t you? But if you don’t do what is appropriate, sin is crouching near your doorway, turning toward you. Now as for you, will you take dominion over it?” Cain made the conscious decision to change the offerings God had established they should make, in other words he was offering God false worship and this is why is was not accepted. This is what man has done throughout the ages and this is why there are so many different religions and belief systems on the planet today. Man is constantly trying to offer up to God false worship. Satan through lying signs and wonders has created the environment that has allowed man’s natural tendency to rebel to come up with all kinds of spiritual ideas, from worshiping idols like they do in Hinduism and other idolatrous religions, to worshiping the elements like the Sun, and Stars, the worship of angels (Fallen) straight through to the worship of the chief Moon God trying to pass him off as the one true God as is practiced today by over 2 billion people worldwide. There are many sincere people caught up in these religions, however, you can be sincere BUT sincerely WRONG! God wants people to worship him in spirit and in truth! The people in these false religions do not understand that they are worshiping in spirit and in LIE. The spirit that is leading them instead of being the Holy Spirit of God, is the fallen angel Lucifer and a third of the angels that were in heaven who followed him: Isa 14:12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! Isa 14:13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: Isa 14:14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Isa 14:15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. True worship starts with a heart transplant, which happens when a person becomes born again. As King David, who was a man after God own heart because of his attitude towards worship, asked God when he said: Psa 51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. Once that happens and the reconnection is established through the forgiveness of the blood of Jesus, we can start being lead by the Holy Spirit and our whole lifestyle should be an act of true worship. People think worship is holding up your hands singing in church, no that is praise, which is an act of worship. However true worship is a lifestyle. With an act of worship you can be caught up in the moment, where as in true worship it is not a temporary feeling, it is a 24/7 attitude: Joh 4:21 Jesus told her, “Believe me, dear lady, the hour is coming when you Samaritans will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. Joh 4:22 You don’t know what you’re worshiping. We Jews know what we’re worshiping, because salvation comes from the Jews. Joh 4:23 Yet the time is coming, and is now here, when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth. Indeed, the Father is looking for people like that to worship him. Joh 4:24 God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.” Parallel Business Principles Building a business like ours, you have to sold out to your own success and the success of others. You cannot just be going through the motions because if that is the case, you will not last long term. So many people in our industry are lead astray by the promises of bigger and better things in some other company and they end up jumping from one company to the other, never making a success of any of them. You have to be sold out to the company you are in and committed to working their system of doing things in order to see true results. Reliv is having such an impact of people globally, once a person recognizes and understands this, that in itself should motivate them to move forward. If it does not, then they should really be doing something else. ************************************ Jason Gregory Business Coach & Mentor Reliv ************************************ One of the most powerful symbols of God’s love for us is the fact that he wants to relate to us in a Father child relationship. This shows the level of intimacy God wants to have with us. God is not some distant judge who thinks of himself too holy to have that level of association with us, like some religions preach he is; but he is an imminent God who wants to actively get involved in all aspects of our lives. You see a loving father is not only there to reward their child when they do good or judge their child when they do bad, they are also there to help with changing nappies, putting plasters on grazed knees, getting the tissue to wipe away the tears when their children are upset, putting themselves in danger to protect their child etc. This is how the child knows they are truly loved! Many times people, who do not understand the concept of true love, find it hard to grasp to concept of a triune God, (One God expressed in 3 person’s). Some people in other religions would see this as blasphemy and try to say we are worshiping 3 gods and not one. However if look at it from the context of love, it may make more sense. The Bible says that ‘God is love’ : 1Jn 4:16 We have come to know and rely on the love that God has for us. God is love, and the person who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him. So if we understand the dynamic of love we will understand the dynamic of God. Love is something that cannot dwell by itself because love by its very nature has to be shared. So God the Father is the ultimate expression of purity and holiness that no human eye can look upon and live, God the Logos (Son) is his way of interacting with his creation, so a true relationship can be built and God The Holy Spirit is the active force that empowers his people for service. All three different functions, but the same God. The bible says God is a spirit (John 4:24) but how can you kill a spirit? You can’t, but God needed to make the ultimate sacrifice, which was also the ultimate act of love: Joh_15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. This was God leading by example. So the second person of the trinity, the one who is specifically there for human interaction, had to come in a form that could be sacrificed, proving ultimate love: Joh 1:14 The Word Becomes Human The Word became flesh and lived among us. We gazed on his glory, the kind of glory that belongs to the Father’s unique Son, who is full of grace and truth. This Father, Son expression was so we as humans could relate to the gravity of God love. Jesus took off his glory and came down in the form of sinful man, which means he proceeded from the Father just as an earthly son proceeds from their mother and father. He showed us how to relate to God, not just like a distant God but an imminent father. So he taught us how to prayer Our Father……, He did not do anything without hearing from the Father as he was now fully God but also fully man, which again was an example for us. He fulfilled his promise as the Holy Spirit empowered him, example again, and because of this it pleased the Father and he completed his earthly destiny as flesh and blood, when he said on the cross, IT IS FINISHED! This is why his name is so powerful: Php 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Php 2:6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: Php 2:7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: Php 2:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Php 2:9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: Php 2:10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; Php 2:11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. This is why I dare to call him FATHER!
