A lot of time people are not going to understand why you do the things you do, to them it will not make sense. However you know the commitment you a have personally made to that thing and you want to remain faithful to it.
God requires us to be faithful to him and committed to him, not because we have to but, because we want to. This is what it means to have a true love relationship with the father. When a person is committed to a thing they can be trusted to always come through. Commitment works hand in hand with integrity. God places responsibility on people he knows is committed and have integrity: Joh 21:15 Jesus Speaks with Peter When they had finished breakfast, Jesus asked Simon Peter, “Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these?” Peter told him, “Yes, Lord, you know that I love you.” Jesus told him, “Feed my lambs.” Joh 21:16 Then he asked him a second time, “Simon, son of John, do you love me?” Peter told him, “Yes, Lord, you know that I love you.” Jesus told him, “Take care of my sheep.” Joh 21:17 He asked him a third time, “Simon, son of John, do you love me?” Peter was deeply hurt that he had asked him a third time, “Do you love me?” So he told him, “Lord, you know everything. You know that I love you!” Jesus told him, “Feed my sheep. Joh 21:18 “Truly, I tell you emphatically, when you were young, you would fasten your belt and go wherever you liked. But when you get old, you will stretch out your hands, and someone else will fasten your belt and take you where you don’t want to go.” Joh 21:19 Now he said this to show by what kind of death he would glorify God. After saying this, Jesus told him, “Keep following me.” Those 3 times that Jesus got Simon Peter to answer him was to show Simon that the commitment he needed to have to him was going to have to be a real one. Commitment is not just doing things when it is convenient, but it is doing things when things are very inconvenient. As Christians we are called to live a much higher moral standard to other people that are caught up I this world system. So how are we able to do this? Well of ourselves we are weak and would fail every time, however because of the commitment we made at some point in our lives to follow the Lord Jesus Christ, that commitment gave us access to the leading of the Holy Spirit of God, where there is strength: 2Co 12:8 For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. 2Co 12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Commitment can sometimes cause you to be persecuted because of your stance on certain issues, but this should not intimidate you to not live up to your commitment. Jas 5:12 Do Not Swear Oaths Above all, brothers, do not swear oaths by heaven, by earth, or by any other object. Instead, let your “Yes” mean yes and your “No” mean no! Otherwise, you may fall under condemnation. Do you want to be a person that God can trust? Well live up to your commitments. So many people pray the prayer “God please use me” but those same people cannot be trusted in the little things: Luk 16:10 Whoever is faithful with very little is also faithful with a lot, and whoever is dishonest with very little is also dishonest with a lot. So, going into 2015 make sure you stand for something and understand that a good name is far greater than any money you can earn. Parallel Business Principles If a person has no real commitment to building their Reliv business, then it will not grow. To be committed to building it, is to be committed to the day to day activities that cause growth. If a person is faithful in the small things, they will achieve the big things. Unfortunately many people’s commitment is just in their mouths and that is why their business does not grow. Another reason why growth does not happen is because people commit to the wrong things, so even though they feel they are working, their activities are not productive. The system allows us to keep our focus and do the money-making exercises. So lets make a commitment moving into 2015 to be faithful to the system and lets see more Ambassadors and Presidential Directors being created in Europe and around the Reliv world! ********************************* Jason Gregory Business Coach & Mentor Reliv *********************************

The Importance Of Personal Study
As individual believers we have a responsibility to do personal study. The knowledge we gain from personal study is the thing that is going to make the difference in our daily walk with God. The Bible in the book of Proverbs: Pro_4:7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. The Bible also says in the book of James Jas 1:5 Now if any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives to everyone generously without a rebuke, and it will be given to him. Therefore Wisdom is a gift from God that you can ask more of, however knowledge and understand is something that you have to proactively seek out. So many Christians plead ignorance in certain areas and think that is ok, but it is not ok we should be growing all the time in our daily walk with God. A sobering portion of scriptures is when the Bible describes Jesus riding into Jerusalem on a donkey: Luk 19:41 And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it, Luk 19:42 Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes. Luk 19:43 For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side, Luk 19:44 And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation. The children of Israel had the scriptures, which had the prophesies of the Messiah and how he would enter into the temple. The spiritual leaders had the responsibility to know this and even though they read the scriptures, they missed it. We cannot read the Bible like a normal book, we have to ask the Holy Spirit to guide us as we study. 2Ti 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. We are coming into the season of Christmas and where as it is a good time where we can remind the world that at a point in time the creator of the universe came into our experience to save us, it is also a time where a lot of negative things are carried out under the banner of Christianity. Most people who study are aware that Jesus was not born on the 25th of December, but we do not have to get hang up on the date and the origins of the date, because it is another opportunity to tell the world about the ultimate love story demonstrated by our creator. However there is a danger that if we are ignorant to certain things, we can get caught up in the spirit of this season, which we see evident all around us at this time of the year. However God has given us the ability to discern or recognize what is of him and what is not so we do not get caught up in anything that will be detrimental to our spiritual growth. However if we never study his word to understand what he likes and does not like, we will never know and then we go back to pleading ignorance. 1Co 2:11 Is there anyone who can understand his own thoughts except his own inner spirit? In the same way, no one can know the thoughts of God except God’s Spirit. 1Co 2:12 Now, we have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who comes from God, so that we can understand the things that were freely given to us by God. 1Co 2:13 We don’t speak about these things with words taught us by human wisdom, but with words taught by the Spirit, as we explain spiritual things to spiritual people. 1Co 2:14 A person who isn’t spiritual doesn’t accept the things of God’s Spirit, for they are nonsense to him. He can’t understand them because they are spiritually evaluated Parallel Business Principals A person needs to understand that in order to be successful in building their Reliv business, it is going to take personal growth. They have to understand the business model so they do the right activity. So many people in our business plead ignorance and wonder why they are not having success. Then the easiest thing to do is to blame something else other than their lack of knowledge in certain areas. If you are building your own empire, you have a responsibility to learn and gain the necessary skills needed to be successful. Understand the day of your visitation and act accordingly. **************************************** Jason Gregory Business Coach & Mentor Reliv **************************************** As Christians we have the reassurance that we are saved because of the grace of God and the sealing of the Holy Spirit:
Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Eph 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. Eph 1:13 You, too, have heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed in the Messiah, you were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, Eph 1:14 who is the guarantee of our inheritance until God redeems his own possession for his praise and glory. So we can be confident in that, we do not need to live lives unsure of the future. However this does not mean the journey to salvation is going to be an easy one. You see, being saved is one thing, obtaining salvation is something different. Mat 24:9 Future Persecution, Apostasy, and Evangelism (Mark 13:9-13; Luke 21:12-19) ¶ “Then they will hand you over to suffer [Or tribulation] and will kill you, and you will be hated by all the nations [Or gentiles] because of my name. Mat 24:10 Then many people will fall away, will betray one another, and will hate one another. Mat 24:11 Many false prophets will appear and deceive many people, Mat 24:12 and because lawlessness will increase, the love of many people will grow cold. Mat 24:13 But the person who endures to the end will be saved. In order to obtain salvation, you have to be consistent, persistent and determined. God knows everyone who is his; he has seen the end from the beginning. He knows whose people who are going to be faithful for 20 years and then fall away. He knows those people who will never make a decision for him and he knows those people who will endure to the end. Those people who fall away after 20 years were saved BUT they did not reach salvation. It is like getting into a boat in a river full of Parana, you are saved from the Parana, but you do not reach salvation onto you are on the shore. However a person can decide to jump back in the water. The thing that effects our actions the most is how we think, because how we think will determine how we perceive things and how we perceive things will determine our opinion of that thing. Once we have an opinion of a thing that will determine our attitude towards it and final our attitude toward it will determine our actions and what we do. This is why one of weapons of the Christians warfare is the Helmet of Salvation because the helmet of salvation is designed to protect your mind so that you can continue to think correctly. The last battleground is the mind and Satan will attack it constantly, so you have to protect it. Just because the enemy puts something in your mind, it does not mean you have sinned, it is only when you continue to contemplate the thoughts and then act on them, that you sin. One of the things my pastor says is “You cannot stop the birds from flying over your head, BUT you can stop them from nesting on your head” (Pastor Dennis Greenidge) Our minds are under attack but the helmet of salvation is our defense. Knowing the word for ourselves and feeding our mind the scriptures on a regular basis is so important. I am not talking about religiously reading a chapter a day, but actually thinking about the passage of scripture you have just read. This will effect how you live your life as you apply what you have read. If you consistently do that until the day you die, you will reach salvation. Some people believe in the concept of ‘Once saved always saved’ in the context that even if you do not live a right life before God, just because you made the initial decision to follow Christ, then you will make it to salvation. No, the way to salvation is narrow and straight, you can choose to jump out of the boat: Mat 7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. We need to protect our minds from the influences of the enemy in order to make it through this life successfully, so today put on the Helmet of Salvation so that you can make to right choices. Parallel Business Principals In order for you to be successful in Reliv it is going to boil down to how you think, if your mindset is not right then you will not do the things necessary to be successful. Just because someone starts on their Reliv journey does not mean they will finish it. Some people quit after 3 weeks, some after 3 months and some after 3 years. The journey to success in Reliv is Strait and narrow and only a few will find it, just like with anything else in life, it is just a global truth. People let other people effect their thinking, which stops their growth, some people can’t even be bothered to climb in the boat in the first place. Other people climb in moan for a bit, do nothing and then jump back out. The Reliv boat is big enough for everyone, but not everyone will climb in or stay in, but for those who do, they will reach the shore! *********************************** Jason Gregory Business Coach & Mentor Reliv *********************************** One of the greatest assets a person has is a good name, once you loose that you have nothing. As Christians we are called to live a life of moral, social, economical and intellectual integrity. Rom 12:1 Dedicate Your Lives to God I therefore urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercies, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices that are holy and pleasing to God, for this is the reasonable way for you to worship. Rom 12:2 Do not be conformed to this world, but continually be transformed by the renewing of your minds so that you may be able to determine what God’s will is—what is proper, pleasing, and perfect. Rom 12:3 For by the grace given to me I ask every one of you not to think of yourself more highly than you should think, rather to think of yourself with sober judgment on the measure of faith that God has assigned each of you. The way we conduct ourselves should reflect our confession of faith and when it does, even when accusations are brought against you, evidence from you lifestyle should defend you and God will always vindicate you. Ecc 7:1 Lessons for Life A good name exceeds the value of fine perfume, and the day of someone’s death exceeds the value of the day of his birth. How a person lives their life is so important because during the passage of time your true character will be exposed and God is calling us to holiness. 1Th_4:7 For God did not call us to be impure, but to be holy. We are not meant to be spiritual Schizophrenics, meaning being one way at church and another way at home. God sees all of our lies and he will deal with us accordingly. We have an enemy Satan and he is called the Accuser of the Brethren and that spirit of accusation runs through people who open themselves up to his lies. This is why Jesus commanded us to: Mat 19:16 And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? Mat 19:17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. Mat_19:18 He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, False witness is being mentioned in the same instance as murder, adultery and theft, so when a person gets into that, they are in a dangerous place. This is why it is so important for us to know the word for ourselves but more importantly to apply the word: 2Co 10:4 For the weapons of our warfare are not those of the world. Instead, they have the power of God to demolish fortresses. We tear down arguments 2Co 10:5 and every proud obstacle that is raised against the knowledge of God, taking every thought captive in order to obey the Messiah. 2Co 10:6 Once your obedience is complete, we will be ready to reprimand every type of disobedience. Pro 22:1 Advice for Everyday Life A good reputation is more desirable than great wealth, and favorable acceptance more than silver and gold. Recently someone tried to attack my character and my integrity in front of some important people, and this person would class herself as a Christian. However God is so faithful that I didn’t even need to defend myself because the other people in the room who knew me and have worked with me, rose up and defended me and vindicated me from the accusations. God will always come through for you when you trust in him. Parallel Business Principles In our Reliv business we are going to get challenged because all types of people are going to join you. You will help raise someone up and that same person will try and pull you down. You will help someone on the products and that same person will try and say you just wanted to get money out of them. We are in a people’s business and you have to love people enough to look passed the few bad apples that you will come across, because there is a whole world of people that need our help. Do not be surprise when people speak against you, because the only person that does not have the capacity to let you down is Jesus. We are nourishing people in two every important areas, health and finances, two areas which people struggle with the most so lets never forget that. **************************************************************** Jason Gregory Business Coach & Mentor Reliv **************************************************************** |
