With every action there is a reaction, it is the one thing we cannot escape from, it is God's law of Sowing and Reaping.
Many of the negative experiences we have may have been avoided had we made better choices.
We can blame other people when things do not go our way, but the reality is a lot of the time it is our fault. We expose ourselves to things we really should not be exposing ourselves to and as a result later on down the line Satan can use it as ammunition to attack us.
Many men at some point in their lives exposed themselves to pornography and before they were a Christian it was not an issue. However, then they get saved and they are trying to live right, but they find that they are struggling with lust and the availability of elicit material is everywhere:
On their phones
On their computers
On their TV
Images pop up that they where not expecting, which triggers memories of previous things that they exposed themselves too.
The initial act before they got saved of watching pornography is now having a knock on effect, even in their new life. That choice was initially their fault. However because we serve a God of grace, he gives individuals the strength to overcome the flesh and it's desire:
16 So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will never fulfill the desires of the flesh.
17 For what the flesh wants is opposed to the Spirit, and what the Spirit wants is opposed to the flesh. They are opposed to each other, and so you do not do what you want to do
As Christians we have to be careful what listen to and what we put in front of our eyes, because our eyes and ears and gateways to our souls:
Psalms 141: 4
Incline not my heart to any evil thing, To practise deeds of wickedness With men that work iniquity: And let me not eat of their dainties
2 I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way. O when wilt thou come unto me?
I will walk within my house with a perfect heart.
3 I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes:
I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me.
4 A froward heart shall depart from me: I will not know a wicked person
King David, when he should have been out at battle with his men stayed at home and while at home he look out of his window and saw a woman bathing. He should have turned away, because it was not something he planned to do, but because he liked what he saw, he continued to look, which stirred up emotions in him and before you know it, he was sleeping with another mans wife and eventually murdered him. That is how dangerous looking at the wrong thing can be.
Sometimes we try to justify our behaviour instead of holding up our hands and saying, yes I messed up and it was my fault.
However repentance brings liberation and that is why the enemy does not want you to do it, but he wants you to condemn yourself:
1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit
Today is a new day, so move forward in the newest of life and do not let your past dictate your future. Ask God to cleanse your mind so that you think on good things and do not, through your actions dig up old rubbish!
In your Reliv business you are going to come across people that have been in Network Marketing before or you yourself may have been in Network Marketing with previous companies. Sometimes the fear of failure is so great simply because they failed in the previous opportunity. So all of the thoughts and memories of that keep on coming back to them.
This is why it is so important to plug new people into the system as quickly as possible and it is also so important to stay plugged in, so the reality of the stories can combat those old thoughts.
You need to be around positive people and hearing positive messages, because if all you are doing is exposing yourself to negative people and negative messages, eventually your passion for reliv will die.
Be careful what you watch and what you listen to about Reliv, let reality of what is going on guide your actions.

Fathers day was last Sunday and I received a card from my three children. It was very precious to me.
When anyone is showing love they are showing God, because God is love as the bible says. When God breathed his spirit in us and Man became a living soul (Genesis 2:7), he invested a bit of himself in us and that is why we have the capacity to love.
The bible says love covers a multitude of sins:
1 Peter 4: 6-10
8 Above all keep your love for one another fervent, because love covers a multitude of sins.
9 Show hospitality to one another without complaining.
10 Just as each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of the varied grace of God
We all make mistakes and we all get things wrong, but love can look beyond that. There are many different beliefs and religions in the world, so if you can only get on with people who are like you and believe in what you believe, your life will not have that much of an impact.
This weekend I was up in Scotland helping some of my distributors up there and I was with a beautiful family and met a bunch of beautiful people who treated me extremely well, they couldn't have treated me better. They were all Muslims and I am a Christian and yet none of that mattered, they were just showing me love. It could have been different, they could have let the fact that I believe that Jesus is the Son of God stand in the way because to them that is blasphemy and I could have let the fact that they believe that Mohammed is God's last messenger stand in the way, because as a Christian I know everything was completed with Jesus on the cross when he said “It is finished” 600 years before Mohammed. However none of that mattered as to how we treated each other over the weekend.
You see we all have the capacity to love, however we choose whether or not we are going to show it.
Jesus came for a people that hated him:
John 1: 10- 14
10 He was in the world, and the world was created by him, but the world did not recognize him. 11 He came to what was his own, but his own people did not receive him.
12 But to all who have received him- those who believe in his name - he has given the right to become Gods children
13- children not born by human parents or by human desire or a husbands decision, but by God.
14 Now the Word became flesh and took up residence among us. We saw his glory- the glory of the one and only, full of grace and truth, who came from the Father
What drove Jesus throughout all the time that he was with us was love.
The Jewish people were expecting the messiah to be this military leader that was going to drive out the Romans and sit on the throne of David, but because Jesus did not come like that, they would not believe him.
John 5: 39-47
39 You study the scriptures thoroughly because you think in them you possess eternal life, and it is these same scriptures that testify about me,
40 but you are not willing to come to me so that you may have life.
41 I do not accept praise from people,
42 but I know you, that you do not have the love of God within you.
43 I have come in my Fathers name, and you do not accept me. If someone else comes in his own name, you will accept him.
44 How can you believe, if you accept praise from one another and dont seek the praise that comes from the only God?
45 Do not suppose that I will accuse you before the Father. The one who accuses you is Moses, in whom you have placed your hope.
46 If you believed Moses, you would believe me, because he wrote about me.
47 But if you do not believe what Moses wrote, how will you believe my words.
His love for us is what caused him to come to us this way, so that both Jew and Gentile (Non Jew) could be saved through his sacrifice. However, when he comes back again, it is going to be completely different. He did the ultimate sacrifice for us and he also left his Holy Spirit with us so that after we accept him, we could be directed and guided correctly. So because of this, when he comes back, he is coming back not the Jesus meek and mild the first time, but `Jesus the judge! The Kings of Kings, Lord of Lords, Concurring Lion From the Tribe Of Judah!
Revelation 19: 11-16
The Vision of the Coming of the Messiah
11 Then I saw heaven standing open, and there was a white horse! Its rider is named Faithful and True. He administers justice and wages war righteously.
12 His eyes are like a flame of fire, and on his head are many royal crowns. He has a name written on him that nobody knows except himself.
13 He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is called the Word of God.
14 The armies of heaven, wearing fine linen, white and pure, follow him on white horses.
15 A sharp sword comes out of his mouth to strike down the nations. He will rule them with an iron rod and tread the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty.
16 On his robe and his thigh he has a name written:
King of Kings and Lord of Lords
When Jesus comes back, our religious activity is not going to save us, our personal world view is not going to save us, our blood line or culture will not help us. The only thing that will save us is whether or not our names are written in the Lambs book of life, in other words, did we accept the finished work of the cross and did we allow Jesus to be lord of our lives.
So love covers a multitude of sins but love also allows judgement to happen.
In our Reliv businesses we have to operate in love, if your true motive is a genuine love for helping others, then you will allow yourself to be taught the right things and then apply them. If your true motive is the genuine love for helping others, then you will develop the right posture when dealing with people, so that you can guide them and not be intimidated by them.
To love is to direct, it cannot be directed, what I mean is God who is love had to give Adam directions in which to follow and Adam loving Eve had to pass these directions. From then on individual choice happened.
Love will cause you to share Reliv in the right way and it will also cause you to follow up with your customers correctly. When you start a new distributor, love will cause you to direct them correctly, so that they can have the best chance of being successful. Love will not allow your new distributor to dictate to you, but it will allow you to have the right posture to either guide the teachable or leave the unteachable alone.
So have the right motives, show love and the knock on effect is, your business will grow.

King Solomon said these very powerful words:
Ecclesiastes 3: 1-8
1 For everything there is a season, and a time for very purpose under heaven:
2 a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
3 a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
4 a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
5 a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
6 a time to seek, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
7 a time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
8 a time to love, and a time to hate; a time for war, and a time for peace
This means in our lives there is time allocated for certain things and if we do the things at the allocated times then we will maximise our lives. The problem occurs when we do not do the things we are supposed to do, because the knock on effect is negative life experiences.
So for instance, there is a time to study the word of God, but if you do not study then you do not know the promises God has made over your life. You do not know how to handle yourself in certain situations, you let the temptations of this world get to you.
There is a time to hate, as believers we are to hate sin, because if we hate sin then we will move closer to God:
15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the vain glory of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever
There is time to work, as believers we are not to be lazy, but we should demonstrate through our lives the principals of God. So is it right for a believer to be on benefits for 20 years when they have the strength to go out to work or the capacity to generate an income?
2 Thessalonians 3: 8-10
8 We did not eat anyone's food without paying for it. Instead, with toil and labor we worked night and day in order not to be a burden to any of you.
9 It is not as though we did not have that right, but, we wanted a to give you an example to follow. 10 While we were with you, we gave this order: "If anyone doesn't want to work, he shouldn't eat.
There is something called seed time and harvest or sow and reaping and it is true whether or not you believe in it. You actions have consequences and those ripple effects can go on for a long time. In the bible we read about generational curses and a lot of the time these curses are just behavioural patterns and life style choices that have just been past on from generation to generation. So for instance: You have a family and everyone is over weight, then the next generation come out and they too are overweight. Now with that come other issues like diabetes and high blood pressure etc. You can look at that and give the excuse of genetics or you can be honest and understand the problem is not genetics, it is mechanics. Too much of the wrong foods and not enough exercise.
Another example could be, one generation is always struggling financially and then next generation struggles financially followed by the generation after that. The reason is because, the poor financial attitudes towards money and how to develop it were just passed on.
If we plant in the right areas then we will get a harvest according to our efforts.
We do not labour in vain because God gives seed to the sower and bread to the eater. (Isaiah 55:10)
In other words, God will give you the knowledge, resource and opportunity to proposer in all aspects of your life, so that you can be a blessing to others as well as being able to provide for your own needs.
Many people stop doing the things they need to do just before their breakthrough, they get despondent and allow other voices in their head to change their focus. This is way as Christians we are to be directed by the Holy Spirit and operate in the fruits of the spirit, which are :
Galatians 5: 22-23
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, good ness, faithfulness,
23 gentleness, and self- control. There is no law against such things
So be patience, if you are planting right seed in the right areas you will get a right harvest.
In our business seed time harvest is such an important principle to understand, because unfortunately those people who do not understand it will always quit.
We live in a microwave society where everyone wants things now, now, now, however our business model does not work like that. It takes time to mentor someone and establish leadership. It takes time to learn new skills in order to make you more valuable to someone else. It takes time to go through the lessons that shape you into a strong mentor.
You see most people want the end result but they do not want the process and unfortunately they both go hand in hand.
Reliv gives everyone the opportunity to change their situations, but does everyone who joins Reliv do that successful? No, and why? Because during that process they quit, it gets too difficult, so they think and it is just easier to quit.
You cannot help quitters but you can help those with a strong enough desire to stick around.
