As Christians the most important command we are given is to LOVE.
Firstly, to love God and secondly to love others Luk 10:25 And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up and tempted Him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? Luk 10:26 He said to him, What is written in the Law? How do you read it? Luk 10:27 And answering, he said, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself. Luk 10:28 And He said to him, You have answered right; do this and you shall live. Love is such a powerful emotion because showing true love is showing God. God created us through love and he also redeemed us because of love: Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only-begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. Love is never forced but it is always out of choice, that is why no one can be born a Christian, a person is a Christian because of a choice they made to allow Jesus into their heart and change them. Through obedience to the laws, principals and commands of God, this starts a love relationship between a person and God. This is why if a person can sin and be happy in their sin, that person has to seriously question whether or not they are truly a Christian as Jesus was very clear when he said: Joh 14:15 If you love Me, keep My commandments. Joh 14:23 Jesus answered and said to him, If a man loves Me, he will keep My Word. And My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our abode with him. Joh 14:24 He who does not love Me does not keep My Words, and the Word which you hear is not Mine, but the Father's who sent Me. God has given his Holy Spirit to convict sin and cause us to repent when necessary, this is out of true love because God understands that sin pays wages and the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23) When Jesus went to the cross for the whole of man kind, it was love hanging there, this is way whenever a person tries to get to God through any other means other than Jesus, they are denying the very love that God gave them. Sometimes peoples perceptions of love can be warped and that is why you can have a husband battering his wife and then going back to her telling her he loves her and the woman accepting the beating trying to justify it by saying “ Oh he was stressed and had a hard day, but he really does love me”. Or it’s like two friends hurling abuse at one another, constantly doing hurtful things to one another but staying they love each other, until the next time something happens! This idea of love is not God’s idea of love. The greatest expression of love has been described in 1Corthians 13 1Co 13:1 If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but I do not have love, I have become as sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. 1Co 13:2 And if I have prophecies, and know all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith so as to move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. 1Co 13:3 And if I give out all my goods, and if I deliver my body that I be burned, but I do not have love, I am not profited anything. 1Co 13:4 Love has patience, is kind; love is not envious; love is not vain, is not puffed up; 1Co 13:5 does not behave indecently, does not pursue its own things, is not easily provoked, thinks no evil; 1Co 13:6 does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices in the truth. 1Co 13:7 Love quietly covers all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 1Co 13:8 Love never fails. But if there are prophecies, they will be caused to cease; if tongues, they shall cease; if knowledge, it will be caused to cease. 1Co 13:9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part; 1Co 13:10 but when the perfect thing comes, then that which is in part will be caused to cease. 1Co 13:11 When I was an infant, I spoke as an infant, I thought as an infant, I reasoned as an infant. But when I became a man, I caused to cease the things of the infant. 1Co 13:12 For now we see through a mirror in dimness, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I will fully know even as I also was fully known. 1Co 13:13 And now faith, hope, and love, these three things remain; but the greatest of these is love. To be a true ambassador for God is to show love, as showing true love is showing GOD! Parallel Principals If love is your true motivation in this business, you are going to grow a very strong business as love is always focused on others. It was love for humanity that drove Dr Theodore and it is love behind the Reliv mission to Nourish Our World. As you are contently looking at different ways to help people while doing your business, God is going to open up the doors. Many people have come into this business saying that they truly want to help people, but when they have had a few bad months or may be not made not as much money as they would have liked for whatever reason, they quit. This shows their true motivates. In order to truly see the bigger picture with Reliv, a person truly has to plug into all of the elements of the Reliv system because this is how Reliv will move from your head into your heart. There is a transfer of emotion which happens when a person is truly working their Reliv business correctly and that is why Reliv is such a strong business opportunity. Because people are getting real results on the products, this is what gives Reliv the longevity and the stability moving forward. This should also give you the confidence to share Reliv with everyone you meet. Love allows you to deal with the highs and the lows of doing this business, it should also spur you on because you do not know who you are going to meet next, who you can potentially help. You should not be forcing the product or the business down people’s throats because love would not do that. You should not be recruiting people into your business and leaving them, because love would not do that. You should not be getting customers and not following up with them because love would not do that Knowing what you know about Reliv and how it has and is helping people, you should not hold back from telling it to anyone because love would not do that. When you have something that has changed your life, Love SHOULD cause you to share it.

When you are on a journey, it is vitally important that you know where you are going, because if you do not know where you are going you WILL get lost.
In the journey of life people think there are many roads to God and this is caused by the various belief systems that are out there. However God is very clear as to how a person can reach him, one way in and one way out. There is no beginning to God and there is no ending to him either. It is a bit like arriving at the house at the end of a Cal de Sac, there is only one way to get there and all roads DO NOT lead to it. In speaking about the way to God, Jesus said in the book of John: Joh 14:2 In My Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. Joh 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, so that where I am, you may be also. Joh 14:4 And where I go you know, and the way you know. Joh 14:5 Thomas said to Him, Lord, we do not know where You go, and how can we know the way? Joh 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life; no one comes to the Father but by Me. We live in a dark world, a world that is against God, Satan has promoted his way to such an extent that people are oblivious to the fact that they are even being lead by him and will even defend his way. There is a saying that says “The greatest job the devil has ever done is to convince the world he does not exist”. This is why we need the light of Christ to illuminate the way, so we can get through this journey of life without straying onto different paths. Joh 8:12 Then Jesus spoke again to them, saying, I am the Light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. God has left his laws and his principals in his word and through the guiding of the Holy Spirit of God, as we read the word, God gives us greater insight into himself. This is why as your relationship with God deepens, your love for his word deepens also. If you read the bible without a true relationship with God, then you will get a head knowledge of God, BUT you will miss all of the deeper things of him: 1Co 2:14 But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. It is a bit like if my wife wrote me a love letter, I would get more out of that letter because of our relationship than you would reading the same letter. There would be certain things she would say and how she would say it, that unless you were in an intimate relationship with her, you would not even understand. This is why compromise is so dangerous to the Christian. If you are compromising your Christian standards just to fit in, you are in a dangerous place and you NEED to repent IMMEDIATELY! One of the things the enemy knows, is how to do it get Christians to compromise and therefore move them out of their divine covering, which gives him permission to attack them. But if you stay under God’s covering by not compromising there is protection: Psa 91:1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall rest underthe shadow of the Almighty. Psa 91:2 I will say of Jehovah, my refuge and my fortress; my God; in Him I will trust. Psa 91:3 Surely He will deliver you from the fowler's trap and from the destroying plague. Psa 91:4 He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall trust. His truth shall be your shield, and buckler. Not everyone is will to do that and that is why Matthew 7:21 states “Not everyone who says to Me, Lord! Lord! shall enter the kingdom of Heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in Heaven.” God way is clear and his path is straight but unfortunately only a few people (in the context of all of history), will find it and this is because most people like the broad gate and the wide road of compromise and disobedience. Mat 7:13 Go in through the narrow gate, for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many there are who go in through it. Parallel Business Principals The reality of doing your business is this, you are going to get a lot more NO’s than your are going to get YES’s. It does not matter how good you are at presenting or how much money you are making, that will always be the case. It is just the way things are. If God is getting more NO’s with the ultimate opportunity of eternal life, with all of the testimonies throughout history of his goodness and mercy, how much more so us with our opportunity for financial freedom. So you have to learn how to deal with the NO’s because if you do not you will quit the business. 98% of our population are going to be dead or dead broke by the age of 65, that means only 2% of people are going to do what is take to be financially free. Even when you sponsor people into your business who say they are serious, the majority of them will not follow through with their comment. You will get 80% of your revenue from 20% of your people and that statistic runs throughout ALL industries not just ours. So it is important for you to know the way in this business and you get that through the Reliv System. If you start compromising with the system you just move yourself over to the broad gate and the wide road, in other words you put yourself on the road to failure. The 7 point system is a straight road which leads to success with Reliv and there are not many roads which leads to success with Reliv, there is only ONE. So put yourself in the position to be taught and mentored by the system and do what only 2% of our population is going to do, and that is become financially free. God established Fathers to be the spiritual heads of their houses, to be the ones to establish to spiritual climates of their homes, through the obedience to the word God. We see this right at the beginning of the Bible when man was created:
Gen 2:15 And Jehovah God took the man and put him into the garden of Eden to work it and keep it. Gen 2:16 And Jehovah God commanded the man, saying, You may freely eat of every tree in the garden, Gen 2:17 but you shall not eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. For in the day thatyou eat of it you shall surely die. Gen 2:18 And Jehovah God said, It is not good that the man should be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him. Through disobedience we became spiritual orphans because Adam was a direct creation of God and therefore classed as a Son of God: Luk 3:38 son of of Enos, son of of Seth, son of of Adam, son of of God. Adam as son of God was made in God’s Image and Likeness: Gen 1:26 And God said, Let Us make man in Our image, after Our likeness However, when Adam sinned all of his descendants were disconnected to that intimate relationship that Adam had with God and as spiritual orphans, were made in the Image and likeness of Adam! Gen 5:1 This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him; Gen 5:2 Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created. Gen 5:3 And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth: So this was our state before accepting the Lord Jesus Christ, because the born again experience, that every true believer goes through is what places our spirits back in its rightful position with God and we get our son ship back: Rom 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. Rom 8:15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. Satan has setup this world system with all of the attitudes and beliefs to such an extent, that most people want to stay in the orphanage. An adopted child has all of the rights as a direct descendant. As Christians not only are we grafted into the promises of God and have that spirit of adoption, but we came in through the blood of Jesus, so as God looks at us, he see us through the blood of his Son. This is why there is only one way to God and that is through the Lord Jesus Christ. It does not matter how good you are or what you do, outside of Christ compared to his righteousness, it is like filthy rags. This is our blessed hope as believers, that through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, cleansing of our sins by the blood of Jesus and the conditional love of the Father, we have eternal life and this life is a gateway into our eternity. WOW! Parallel Principals 98% of the population will be either dead or dead broke by the age of 65, not because they have not got the ability to become financial free, but they just will not go through the personal growth needed to become financial free. Most people are so filled with excuses that eventually that is all they can see. They are be guided by the wrong things. But for the 2% who step out of their comfort zone, their own ideas and their own misconceptions and tap into the correct information and apply it, they will experience financial freedom in a way the 98% will never do. We have exposed ourselves to that type of information with Reliv, now it is down to us how we apply it and work it. The system is the thing that will guide us as we are building and it is also the thing that will create the environment that will allow us to grow. Some people will choose to follow the system, others will choose not to. That is the thing that will separate the 98% from the 2%. What this opportunity has done is to bring back hope into peoples financial situations, so through the right guidance, lets build towards our future and help others do the same. As believers we are supposed to walk by faith and not by sight (2 Cor 5:7). This is because faith is the catalyst which actions God’s hand to move in our life and without it we hinder our own help from him. Many times in the scriptures we hear Jesus say to people “Go, your faith has made you whole”.
Satan want to move a person away from faith into fear , because he knows, that is the perfect place to paralyse the believer and stop them from moving forward. As believers we need to practice our faith everyday, and what i mean by that is, we should learn to stretch our faith to expect the unexpected. We a saved by faith onto faith Rom 1:17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. So our faith is something that can grow and as you stretch your expectations and trust God to fulfill them. Every time that happens your faith grows. However God does not just give you that experience for you, he gives it so you can share it with others, so they can be encouraged and begin to operate in faith also. Heb 11:7 By faith Noah, having been warned by God of things not yet seen, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house, by which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith. Heb 11:8 By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out into a place which he was afterward going to receive for an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he went. Heb 11:9 By faith he lived in the land of promise as a stranger, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs of the same promise with him. The whole chapter of Hebrews 11 are accounts of people stepping out in faith expecting the unexpected and seeing God come through in a big way. There are other people in this chapter who stepped out by faith and personal did not see the fulfillment but their generations did. So the motive of our faith should be to expect the unexpected in God’s time and ours. Many people think that if what they are expecting does not come immediately then God did not answer the prayer and then they try to assist God by doing certain things and get themselves into even more bother. A good example of this is King Saul: 1Sa 13:8 And he waited seven days, according to the set time with Samuel. But Samuel did not come to Gilgal. And the people were scattered from him. 1Sa 13:9 And Saul said, Bring a burnt offering here to me, and peace offerings. And he offered the burnt offering. 1Sa 13:10 And it happened as soon as he had made an end of offering the burnt offering, behold, Samuel came. And Saul went out to meet him and to kneel to him. 1Sa 13:11 And Samuel said, What have you done? And Saul said, Because I saw that the people were scattered from me, and you did not come in the days appointed, and the Philistines gathered themselves at Michmash, 1Sa 13:12 and I said, The Philistines will come down now on me to Gilgal, and I have not made supplication to Jehovah. And I forced myself and offered a burnt offering. 1Sa 13:13 And Samuel said to Saul, You have done foolishly. You have not kept the commandment of Jehovah your God, which He commanded you. For now Jehovah would have established your kingdom on Israel forever. 1Sa 13:14 But now your kingdom shall not stand. Jehovah has sought Him a man after His own heart, and Jehovah has appointed him to be leader over His people, because you have not kept what Jehovah commanded you. Hebrews 11: 1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. So truly to be able to operate in faith so the thing can be fulfilled in Gods timing, we have to allow the Holy Spirit to guide and direct us and we will know whether or not we are doing that, because we will be operating in the fruits of the spirit: Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is: love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faith, Gal 5:23 meekness, self-control; against such things there is no law. But if we operate in God’s laws and principles and love him for who he is and not just for what he can give us, this is what the Bible promises: Eph 3:17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, Eph 3:18 may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth and length and depth and height, Eph 3:19 and to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge, that you might be filled with all the fullness of God. Eph 3:20 Now to Him who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask orthink, according to the power that works in us, Eph 3:21 to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, forever. Amen. So walk by faith and not by sight and expect the unexpected. Parallel Principals We are in a business where you need to expect the unexpected because as we build this, there are going to be certain people that you would have never expected to let you down, who will do exactly that. On the other hand there are going to be people who you did not expect to do anything who will be one of your runners. We have to learn in all things to give God thanks. It is going to take faith and effort for all of us to build our Reliv businesses and God is going to use situations in our businesses to see just how much we truly do love people: Are we truly helping our customers through good follow up? Are we truly helping our distributors through good follow up? It all about me or am I telling the truth when i say I love helping others? The thing is if we can be trusted with a little then God will also trust us with much. So if your motives are right expect the unexpected and have the patience and the work ethic to see the fulfillment. If you do not do the things you are supposed to do, then nothing will happen, it does not matter how much faith you say you have, as faith without works is dead (James 2:20). So please do not expect nothing out, if you are not putting anything in. God’s principals of Sowing and Reaping apply very much so in our business. So if want to experience the impossible, you first have to see the invisible, in other words, look to God and by faith expect the impossible. In order for someone to get different results in life, they have to first start thinking differently, which will then result in them acting differently.
The way think hold us back and that is why the first thing God deals with when a person truly accept Christ is their mindset: 1. How the think in regards to sin 2. How they should act as a response to sin Rom 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. You become how you think: Pro 23:7 For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee. As you can see from this scripture, a person is described as thinking deceitfully and so acted deceitfully. Your thoughts determine your attitude and your attitude will determine what you do. We are a sum total of our choices and our eternal destiny rests on us making the right choices. God gives us everything we need to live right, but the final decision on how we live rests with us. God is not going to fight against our choices, but he will judge them. Jesus chose to sacrifice himself for you and for me and we know his choice put him under immense pressure as we read the account of him praying in the garden of Gethsemane: Luk 22:44 And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground. How he did not let the pressure of his choice stop him from doing what he needed to do because he had vision of the future. He knew the present was going to take effort but the future was him back in his glory as the resurrected Christ! When it got really tuff, all of his disciples let him, but that still did not shake him from doing what he needed to do, because he had made a choice and he was firm in that choice: Moses was the same, he had the option to stay in a comfort zone as one of the sons of Pharaoh, but he chose differently: Heb 11:25 Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; And because of his choice a whole nation of people were saved. During this process he had to learn new skills in order to be effective and so he had another choice to make, whether to listen to the council of his father- in-law or to be puffed up in his pride as the big deliverer who does not need any help: Exodus 18:14-24 "14 When Moses' father-in-law saw all that he was doing for the people, he said, What is this that you do for the people? Why do you sit alone, and all the people stand around you from morning till evening? 15 Moses said to his father-in-law, Because the people come to me to inquire of God. 16 When they have a dispute they come to me, and I judge between a man and his neighbor, and I make them know the statutes of God and His laws. 17 Moses' father-in-law said to him, The thing that you are doing is not good. 18 You will surely wear out both yourself and this people with you, for the thing is too heavy for you; you are not able to perform it all by yourself. 19 Listen now to [me]; I will counsel you, and God will be with you. You shall represent the people before God, bringing their cases and causes to Him, 20 Teaching them the decrees and laws, showing them the way they must walk and the work they must do. 21 Moreover, you shall choose able men from all the people--God-fearing men of truth who hate unjust gain--and place them over thousands, hundreds, fifties, and tens, to be their rulers. 22 And let them judge the people at all times; every great matter they shall bring to you, but every small matter they shall judge. So it will be easier for you, and they will bear the burden with you. 23 If you will do this, and God so commands you, you will be able to endure [the strain], and all these people also will go to their [tents] in peace. 24 So Moses listened to and heeded the voice of his father-in-law and did all that he had said. Moses choice allowed him to be more productive in governing Israel at the same time as leveraging him time. The reason why people are in their current situations is solely down to choices. So lets ask God to guide us so we make the right ones. Parallel Principals Everyday people choose the learn new skills to grow their business and people choose not to learn new skills. Their results reflect their choices. We have a system designed to develop a person’s business and everyday people choose to plug into the system and grow their business while others choose not the plug in and act all surprised when their business is not growing. Any decision we make we really should count the costs before making it and if we are not prepare to go through the learning curve it takes to be successful, then we should really reconsider our choice, because the only people we are fooling is ourselves when we do that. Within Reliv, if you truly do not have a passion for helping others, then you should really reconsider your decision to grow a Reliv business because it just will not happen. Different people’s business grow at different rate because of their, skill level, personality, center of influence or their willingness to learn. So how serious were you when you made that decision to build your Reliv business, did you count the cost or were you looking for a quick fix? Moses was in the backside of a desert before he learned what he needed to learn in order to shepherd God’s people. How long will it take you to learn the things you need to, in order to be successful but also to handle success? It is one thing knowing about the truth, but it is another thing all together actually knowing the truth.
Knowing the truth is liberating because it releases you from the bondage of lies and it helps you to see the bigger picture about your situation. When someone is walking in the truth they are experiencing the reality of life, where as walking in lies may give a person a false sense of security, however their life becomes a facade. Unfortunately many people’s lives are facades as they choose not to walk in the truth, but the Bible is very clear when God says in Joh 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. The Bible says that before we accepted Christ we were slaves to sin and ruled by it because we were born in bondage: Psa 51:5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me. (David Speaking) This is why accepting Christ is so important for our eternity because it is not about how good you think you are, it is about the truth about your situation, because of how you were born. We had no control over how we were born, however we do have control over how we live and how we live is what is going to shape our eternity. Joh 8:12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. Gal 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. We have the spirit of truth to guide us through this life and it is the Holy Spirit that allows us to get through this life and have a personal relationship with God: Joh 14:17 the Spirit of Truth, whom the world cannot receive because it does not see Him nor know Him. But you know Him, for He dwells with you and shall be in you. Joh 15:26 And when the Comforter has come, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He shall testify of Me. Joh 16:13 However, when He, the Spirit of Truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth. For He shall not speak of Himself, but whatever He hears, He shall speak. And He will announce to you things to come. So God has given us everything we need to know the truth from lies through his spirit, if we choose to accept him through his son: 1Jn 4:6 We are of God. He who knows God hears us. The one who is not of God does not hear us. From this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error. So walk in the truth and do not let other people’s attitudes, opinions or lies sway you from what you know to be true. Joh 4:22 You worship what you do not know, we know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews. Joh 4:23 But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father seeks such to worship Him. Joh 4:24 God is a spirit, and they who worship Him must worship in spirit and in truth. Parallel Principals Within Reliv the strength of our business is in the reality of the stories, without the stories we would be just another company out there claiming to have good products. However anyone who plugs into the Reliv system knows that every element of the system is designed specifically to expose people to the reality of the stories. You hear about building your wall of belief and that wall is built by exposing yourself to the truth about what is happening to real people all over the world. You will never escape people’s opinions and people’s negativity about what you are doing, however when you know the truth, you are freed from the bondage that other people have over you. That freedom that you have from other people’s views is what is going to also free you in your health and free you in your finances. There is a reason why most people struggle in either health or finances and that is because most people, whether in the world or in the church, are slaves to the lies concerning these to area’s. So you have the Name It and Claim it mentality over finances (without work and effort) and the mentality where people do not understand that they need to be stewards over their bodies, so they are in prayer meetings every week praying for their healing. Lets wake up and understand that the truth sets people free. |
