Early To Rise
Many people lead very busy lives, from having to deal with our children and family commitments, to fulfilling our roles of employment. Our days can be quite full, so with all of this going on it can be very easy to push God to the back of the list if we are not careful. However we need to clearly understand that God wants to be Lord over all of our lives, not just a part of it. As with any relationship, if we do not spend quality time with God, then are relationship with him will not grow. A good time to spend with God is early in the morning before all of the crazy schedule of the day starts. This is a time where you can focus without distraction and really hear from God. It can set the tone for your whole day and prepare you for the challenges ahead. Gen 19:27 Abraham went early in the morning to the place where he had stood before the Lord earlier. Jacob Worships God in Bethel Then Jacob woke up during the night and told himself, “Surely, the Lord is in this place and I never knew it!” Gen 28:17 In mounting terror, he cried out, “How scary this place is! This is nothing less than God’s house and the gateway to heaven!” Gen 28:18 When Jacob got up early the next morning, he took the stone that he had used for his pillow, set it up as a pillar, drenched it with oil, Gen 28:19 and named the place Beth-el, although previously the city had been named Luz. Gen 28:20 Then he made this solemn vow: “If God remains with me, watches over me throughout this journey that I’m taking, gives me food to eat and clothes to wear, Gen 28:21 and returns me safely to my father’s house, then the Lord will be my God, Gen 28:22 this stone that I’ve erected in the form of a pillar will be God’s house, and I’ll give you a tenth of everything that you give to me.” Psa_63:1 A Psalm of David, when he was in the wilderness of Judah. O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is; There are many occasions in the bible where people rose up early in the morning to either seek God or hear from God. The enemy would not want you to do this because he knows the closer you get to God, it’s the more dangerous you are to him. So he will try and bring distractions to you and tap into that part of you that wants pleasure to try and keep you in your bed. However God is faithful and if you make the commitment to seek him early, he will give you the ability to fulfill that commitment. God wants to speak to us, he wants to guide us, he wants to see us progress, he is a loving father. However love is a two way thing and we have to do our part. Love causes you to go that extra mile and do things outside of your comfort zone and God is seeking a people that will love him for who he is and not just what he can give you. We have to be mindful of our actions and motives because God see everything, we cannot hide these things from him, he will draw close to those who draw close to him. Parallel Business Principles Getting up early and start your day correctly and on a positive note is so important to having a productive day in building your Reliv business. Putting God at the head of our business is the best thing we can do for our businesses. The bible says, “The step of the righteous man are order by the Lord” and this is why having that communication going with God is so crucial to our success. It is amazing how one of the elements of the Reliv system is to wake up early on a Saturday morning and go to training. Saturday morning is a morning where the majority of people sleep late in their beds, whereas those people who are the successful business builders with Reliv on Saturday mornings are being empowered and networking. God will not force anyone to get up early to seek his face and in the same parallel, you cannot force anyone to get up early to be trained. Success and relationships are a choice. ************************************************** Jason Gregory Business Coach & Mentor Reliv *************************************************

One of the hardest decisions a person has to make is to decide to change their lifestyle. Many times we get comfortable in living and acting a certain way; we even justify our lifestyle to convince ourselves there is nothing wrong with it. This is why so many people fight against the message of the gospel, because in order the embrace the message, a person has to admit their lives have to change.
Jesus said in the sermon on the mount: Mat 5:3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. In order to be part of the Kingdom of God a person has to first realise that they have a spiritual disconnect with God caused by sin and they need that spiritual reconnection so that their heart can change. They are poor in spirit. Sin blinds people, of the things my Pastor says is this: “Sin will cause you to go further than you intended to go, get you to stay longer then you intended to stay and cost you more than you were prepared the pay!” Pastor Dennis Greenidge If we do not make that decision to change, we are lost. God himself had to make difficult decisions, from kicking Adam & Eve out of the garden, to causing the deluge to destroy the earth. He made the decision to come to where we were to die a sinner’s death so that we can be saved: Php 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Php 2:6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: Php 2:7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: Php 2:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. At the end of the age when God is judging the world, those who chose not you follow him and believe the massage of the gospel, will join the Devil and his followers in the Lake of Fire, that is not going to be an easy decision to make, but it is one he has to make, because he is a righteous God and as such he has to judge sin: Rev 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. Rev 20:11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. Rev 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. Rev 20:13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. Rev 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. Rev 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. Difficult decisions are a part of life, we cannot escape them, but we can embrace them and ask God for the wisdom to deal with them. King Solomon new that he would have to be making difficult decisions in his role as King, so when God asked him what he wanted, instead of asking for riches or his enemies destroyed, he asked for wisdom to govern God’s people. We need to hear the voice of God in order to make the right decisions, the bibles says: Psa 37:23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way We have been given everything through the word of God to live a productive life in the natural things in this world and a spiritual life in the things that are related to eternity. We just need to tap into the source and operated in faith. Choose to live right, even when everyone around you is living wrong, choose to have a higher standard, even when the world is saying certain behaviours are okay. Isa 59:19 So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him. You be that standard! Parallel Business Principles It is a very strong decision for a person to decide to change their lives financially, the reason why most people cannot understand a person with an entrepreneurial spirit is because, most people are trying to get security and not freedom, so they buy into the lies fed to them by corporations and governments. However the entrepreneur understands that the only way they are going to get true freedom, is to put the work in to build their own thing. People ask why is it that people join home based business opportunities and do not make a success of them? In the main part it is because, they have a job mentality and they bring that into their business opportunity. You cannot have a job mentality and be a successful entrepreneur; you have to make the important decision to change your mindset. Not everyone is wired to be an entrepreneur, it takes, Desire, Drive, Motivation, Determination, Persistency, Consistency, a good work ethic, strong vision, I could go on but i think you get the picture. Entrepreneurs have to make tuff decisions, decisions that others cannot be bothered to make and this is why entrepreneurs have the things others do not have. So are you prepared to make these difficult decisions in order that you are successful in your Reliv business? Only you know that. ****************************** Jason Gregory Business Coach & Mentor Reliv ****************************** For those of you who are parents on the call, you will know that your children are a number one priority. It doesn’t matter what you are doing, if your children need you, you drop everything you are doing to be there for them.
There is a connection between parents and children that is so powerful, that causes people to go the extra mile. This is how God views us and there is nothing he would not do for us, in the context of who he is. He proved that by coming to live amongst us, being crucified on a cross to take the burden of our sin, so that through his sacrifice we could have eternal life. We are his number priority. We should live a life of gratitude as we acknowledge the extent of the gift that was given to us. There are so many people in the church that live a life of wanting more things or better situations. They fail to recognize the blessing of where they are at that moment and being thankful for it. Now I am not saying to better yourself is a wrong thing, but if it consumes you and that is all you think about, that in itself can become an idol in your life. We need to understand that if we put God first as a priority in our lives, just as he has done for us, then these things will be added anyway: Mat 6:25 Stop Worrying (Luke 12:22-34) “That’s why I’m telling you to stop worrying about your life—what you will eat or what you will drink—or about your body—what you will wear. Life is more than food, isn’t it, and the body more than clothing? Mat 6:26 Look at the birds in the sky. They don’t plant or harvest or gather food into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. You are more valuable than they are, aren’t you? Mat 6:27 Can any of you add a single hour to the length of your life by worrying? Mat 6:28 And why do you worry about clothes? Consider the lilies in the field and how they grow. They don’t work or spin yarn, Mat 6:29 but I tell you that not even Solomon in all of his splendor was clothed like one of them. Mat 6:30 Now if that is the way God clothes the grass in the field, which is alive today and thrown into an oven tomorrow, won’t he clothe you much better—you who have little faith? Mat 6:31 “So don’t ever worry by saying, ‘What are we going to eat?’ or ‘What are we going to drink?’ or ‘What are we going to wear?’ Mat 6:32 because it is the unbelievers who are eager for all those things. Surely your heavenly Father knows that you need all of them! Mat 6:33 But first be concerned about God’s kingdom and his righteousness, and all of these things will be provided for you as well. Mat 6:34 So never worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” God understands that in this life’s journey we need to move from one stage of life to another and people will be looking at ways to better themselves. Actually improving your life is a biblical principle, however, he wants to know where our loyalty lays. Do we really love him for who he is or are we just out for what we can get. There many people that like being associated with other people because they can use them as a means to step up the ladder, not because they genuinely like being around them. They just see them as enablers. This is not the right motive and is quite manipulative. God see the motive of the heart and judges accordingly: Jer 17:9 The Deceitfulness of the Human Heart “The heart is more deceitful than anything. It is incurable-- who can know it? Jer 17:10 I am the Lord who searches the heart, who tests the inner depths to give to each person according to what he deserves, according to the fruit of his deeds. If we have God as our priority he will be Lord over lives and that Adamic nature, which is in all of us will be kept under control. The beauty about putting God first is, all of these things that we need, he has already taken care of. Parallel Business Principals What should be your number priority in building your Reliv business? Without a shadow of a doubt, it should be the service of others. Whether or not you are talking about customers or business partners, their service should be top of the list. If all you see them is as £ or $ signs, then you will never grow a long term sustainable business. The beauty about the Reliv system is it really filters away the people over time who do not have the right motives, because the action that are required to plug into the Reliv system will challenge people and those who are not willing to serve others in the right way will eventually go. In order to serve correctly you have to allow yourself to be taught correctly and then you will need to teach others correctly. You lead by example and you lead from the front. ************************************************* Jason Gregory Business Coach & Mentor Reliv ************************************************* |
