As believers we are to walk by faith and not by sight, this is because sight focuses on this natural world and all of it’s limitations. Where faith focuses on the supernatural or heavenly realm and the unlimited potential.
It is very easy to say you have faith when everything is going well with you, however it is only when you are being challenged, that your faith is really tested. Life will always bring challenges to us, so it is not about how we react to the challenge; it is about how we respond to it. Remember the test will not destroy you, BUT it will develop you. 2Co 4:6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 2Co 4:7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. 2Co 4:8 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; 2Co 4:9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; 2Co 4:10 Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. 1Co 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you that is unusual for human beings. But God is faithful, and he will not allow you to be tempted beyond your strength. Instead, along with the temptation he will also provide a way out, so that you may be able to endure it. God has not left us alone to try and work this thing out by ourselves, but he has given us his Holy Spirit as a guide and Jesus as our advocate. So none of us should so pride in spiritually right we are and what we have done for the kingdom, because we are just paintbrushes and the true glory goes to the painter. Plus if we ever start focusing on us instead of focusing on him, that will be the beginning of our down fall. So how do you respond when someone is speaking negative about you, saying you will never achieve anything significant? How do you respond when the doctors say there is nothing else they can do and there is no hope? How do you respond when you look in your bank account and there is not enough to get you through the month? How to you respond when you have done something that you know you can get away with BUT you know the right thing to do would be to own up to it. All of these situations cause you to choose whose report to believe. These situations are fertile soil for the enemy to start playing with your mind, so if you do not anything to defend against it the enemy will win and you will feel either depressed or justified. Depressed because of how bad the situation is and you cannot see any hope for the future. Justified in the actions you take because of the situation you find yourself in. One of the things my Pastor says is “If you look outwardly you will be distracted and confused, if you look inwardly you will be depressed, but if you look upwardly you will be directed”. So whose report are you going to believe today? Parallel Business Principles In building your Reliv business you are going to encounter many types of people and not everyone is going to be positive about what you are doing. Just last week I had someone with hardly any knowledge of Reliv or our industry, try to attack both the company and the industry. Did that faze me in anyway? Absolutely not! Why should you be fazed by ignorance when you have true knowledge straight from the source! People are always going to have their opinions, you will never get away from that, just like you will never get away from birds flying over your head. However the one thing you can do is to stop the birds from nesting on your head. Some many people believe other people’s opinions about them or what they are doing, instead of dismissing them and moving on. A couple of question you need to ask yourself: 1. Do you truly believe God placed you in this opportunity? 2. Do you truly believe that God can cause you to be successful in this opportunity? 3. Are you willing to give him all of the glory when success happens? You see God already knows the answer to these questions, so you just have to be honest with yourself. I have seen gifted people who got to leadership level in this company, but did not have the character to sustain there and are no longer with the company. God is always faithful, he promotes and he also demotes. Your gift can take you where your character can’t keep you! So whose report are you going to believe? ********************************** Jason Gregory Business Coach & Mentor Reliv **********************************

One of the names of God is El Shaddai, God Almighty or the All sufficient one, that name is all encompassing and should give every believer the confidence to face life and all the challenges it brings. From the very moment God created man up until now, God has never abandoned mankind. Even with all of the mistakes and errors we have done over the years, God’s love for us has not wavered. There was a reason why God created us the way that he did and that was so he could have an intimate relationship with us, that he did not have with the angels. This is why from the beginning when man fell, God had already put a plan of redemption in place. To redeem something is to legally reclaim it or buy it back and this is what Jesus was doing on the cross. People cannot understand when believers say, the only way back to God is through Jesus and this is because they do not understand to law of Redemption. In Jesus is our source he is El Shaddai who became a man so he could pay the ultimate price to buy us back. This is why as believers we should always look to Jesus: Heb 5:7 As a mortal man, he offered up prayers and appeals with loud cries and tears to the one who was able to save him from death, and he was heard because of his devotion to God. Heb 5:8 Son though he was, he learned obedience through his sufferings Heb 5:9 and, once made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him, Heb 5:10 having been designated by God to be a high priest according to the order of Melchizedek. When he made that decision to experience life as a man to pay the ultimate price, that had to be all encompassing, which included a real human experience. This is why Jesus was fully God in his identity and fully man in his reality! Now he had the authority to buy us back and the physical means to do it. So now our lives belong to him and so to fulfill our true potential, it can only happen if we allow him to be the head of our lives. When Jesus was reassuring his disciples he said these words: Joh 14:19 “In a little while the world will no longer see me, but you will see me. Because I live, you will live also. Joh 14:20 At that time you will know that I am in my Father, that you are in me, and that I am in you. Joh 14:21 The person who has my commandments and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I, too, will love him and reveal myself to him.” He was letting them know that no one can separate them from him and he has made provision for them. This is the same thing he is telling us today, whenever we need help, he is right there for us because we have called upon his name and now we are in that umbrella of protection: Rom 10:8 But what does it say? “The message is near you. It is in your mouth and in your heart.” This is the message about faith that we are proclaiming: Rom 10:9 If you declare with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Rom 10:10 For one believes with his heart and is justified, and declares with his mouth and is saved. Rom 10:11 The Scripture says, “Everyone who believes in him will never be ashamed.” Rom 10:12 There is no difference between Jew and Greek, because they all have the same Lord, who gives richly to all who call on him. Rom 10:13 “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” Jesus can understand our challenges and our temptations because he was tested just like us and resisted, so that he could be our perfect example: Heb 2:16 For it is clear that he did not come to help angels. No, he came to help Abraham’s descendants, Heb 2:17 thereby becoming like his brothers in every way, so that he could be a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God and could atone for the people’s sins. Heb 2:18 Because he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted. This is why when people live what they think is a good life outside of Christ, they put themselves in a position to be eternally separated from God, because our ‘GOOD’ will never be ‘GOOD ENOUGH’ Heb 4:12 For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any double-edged sword, piercing until it divides soul and spirit, joints and marrow, as it judges the thoughts and purposes of the heart. Heb 4:13 No creature can hide from him, but everyone is exposed and helpless before the eyes of the one to whom we must give a word of explanation. Heb 4:14 Our Compassionate High Priest Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has gone to heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us live our lives consistent with our confession of faith. Heb 4:15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses. Instead, we have one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet he never sinned. The reason why Jesus can be a helping hand in a time of trouble is because he understands us, because he has been through it himself. No other religion can say that of their god. Parallel Business Principals In building your Reliv business you are going to face challenges, trials and tribulations, this is part and parcel of the road to success.
