We meet every Monday morning to pray because we understand the power of prayer. Communication with our Heavenly Father is a privilege we have been given, not because we desire it, but because he loves us so much.
We lost that personal connection with God in the Garden of Eden when Adam sinned, but we got it back with the sacrifice Jesus made for us on the cross, which was the ultimate act of love: 1Co 15:45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. Jesus the God Man, was our example, God became Man to show Man how to live, so that we can get back to him. Therefore as a man he had to go through a real human experience, as a result he had to take of his glory, (not his deity) to go through our experience: Php 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Php 2:6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: Php 2:7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: Php 2:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. This is why the Bible says he grew in wisdom, because as with every human being, our life experience causes growth. So for him to operate in the full power of his deity would mean that it would not be a real human experience: Luk 2:52 And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man. Everything Jesus did was as a result of prayer, he was in constant communication with the Father, this shows us that we need to be constant communication with the Father also. Many people see prayer as something they do to get brownie points with God or something they do to appease their conscience. However true prayer is our direct telephone line to God. It is not just take, take, take, prayer is our opportunity to give God praise for who he is, it is an act of worship. This means if you only speak to God when you want something, that is not a relationship. A prayer is not written out, a prayer is said from the heart. I have never read where Jesus wrote out a prayer, however I do read in Matthew and Luke that when Jesus was asked “How do we prayer” he give his disciples a structure to get them started. We read all through the bible about people who prayed and their prayer moved God’s hand: Joshua prayed and the Sun stood still so they could win the battle Joshua 10:13 Elijah prayed and life was given back to a child 1 Kings 17:21 Daniel prayed and was protected from hungry Lions Daniel 6 Gideon prayed for a sign from God to be certain of what to do Judges 6 The list is endless of examples of prayer in the Bible. In Ephesians 6 the part of our warfare clothes which is classed, as a weapon against the enemy is the word of God, so when we pray the word our prayer becomes a weapon. Our prayers are not prescribed, like we should pray 5 times per day, but our prayer life should spring out of a relationship we have with the Father. When the enemy tries to attack you, the 3 things he goes for is: 1. He tries to distract you from praying 2. He tries to distract you from reading your Bible 3. He tries to stop you from fellowshipping with other believers We need constant direction of what to do next and that will only come through prayer. Parallel Business Principals I truly believe that one of the reasons why Europe is growing the way it is, is because of corporates commitment to allowing us to have this prayer call and the worship services after every conference. I believe that God hears and understand our struggles as distributors and the struggles of corporate, and he has given those who have been prepared to work and be teachable, FAVOUR! Asking for help is not a weakness; it is a sign of humility, which is a strength. Those who try to build this business by themselves will fail every time. Those who are teachable and will allow the system to direct them, have a higher probability of success. So what is it that you are doing which is holding you back? What ever it is, CHANGE IT. Ask for help and be directed. ************************************************ Jason Gregory Business Coach & Mentor Reliv ************************************************

How do people see you? That is an important question, every single believer needs to ask themselves on a daily basis.
Our lives are meant to be different from the lives of non-Christians, there is meant to be a noticeable difference. If you can be around group of people for a good amount of time and they do not notice that there is something different about you, I think you seriously need to question your Christianity. Joh_15:19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. So many people do not want to rock the boat, they do not want to take a definitive stand against the things that are against God, but they want a nice problem free life. Well that is not what you signed up for when you became a Christian. Jesus went against the grain and he did not try to conform, but he knew his message would transform people’s lives. He called us to do the same, this is why we have to deny ourselves, take up our cross and follow him (Matthew 16:24) The message in the world is ‘there is no God’ and the reason why the enemy promotes this message so much is because, if he can get people to believe this, then people can set the levels of their own morality. So you have education promoting a Godless world, trying to use science to back up their presupposition. Then you have the media reinforcing their message indirectly by the types of entertainment they produce. This is why it is so important that as Christians we know what to stand for. Col_2:8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. The first place in the Bible the followers of Jesus were called Christians was in a place call Antioch and this was because the people of the town observed them over time, saw that they were different and they gave them that name. So you do not have to walk around with a big T-shirt saying “ I’m a Christian, I’m a Christian”, but the way you live your live should be such that people say “There goes a Christian!” Act 11:26 And when he had found him, he brought him to Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch. You see I can stand in a garage all day long and shout at the top of my voice, “I’m a car!” This still will not make me a car. So it is with our Christianity, it is not what we say, it is how we live, that determines our Christianity. It is impossible to become a Christian and your lifestyle remains the same. So what do people see, when they look at your life? Parallel Business Principals In order to build a Reliv business effectively, you have to be a person of integrity; your integrity will be the foundation of everything you do in your business. It will determine whether or not you plug into the system because in order to effectively help someone to build their business, you have to do the things to build ours. It will also determine whether or not you do effective follow up with your customers/distributors. You cannot tell someone to do something you are not prepared to do yourself, that does not show integrity. So when people see you building your Reliv business, do they say, “There goes a person with integrity”, or do they say “That person really does not care what happens to me in this business or on this products?” Build with integrity, and the more success you have, give all the glory to God! **************************************** Jason Gregory Business Coach & Mentor Reliv **************************************** When a parent dies, whatever they have gets inherited by the children, this is why it is so important to leave a strong legacy for our children.
This is what happened with the first man Adam and that is why every human being has inherited from him his the Sinful Nature. Man Made After God’s Image Gen_1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. Man Made After Man’s Image Gen_5:3 And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth: Someone can say “How can you say an innocent baby has sinned?” Well a good analogy is: If the heir to the throne is the only surviving member of the royal family, but they are 2 years old, they are still rich. However they will have a guardian to look after them until they are at an age where they can understand their wealth and start spending it. It is the same with every human being, we have all been born with the sin nature, this is why you do not need to show a child how to be naughty. However that child will come of age where it understands what is morally wrong and what is morally right and at that age, they are accountable. This is why as parents or guardians, we have a responsibility to direct our children correctly in the ways of God, so that when they are older, they do not depart from them: Pro_22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. Sin is an Archery term and it means to Miss The Mark and this is why any lifestyle that is not being directed by God is a sinful lifestyle. God hates sin and so the more we walk with him in close relationship, we to will hate sin. As our hearts are recreated or born again, we get that connect back that Adam lost in the garden and the person that reconnected us up was the Lord Jesus the Christ: 1Co_15:45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. Therefore we need to develop the mind of Christ, which will allow us to live above sin and feel so convicted if we do sin, that we truly repent out of a Godly sorrow for what we have done: 2Co 7:10 For godly sorrow works repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world works death. [c] Sin cannot enter into God presence and that is why we need to be cleansed first. We cannot work our way out of our condition because it is ingrained in our very nature and this is why accepting the work of the cross, not only cleanses us of our sin, it also adjusts our nature back to it original form. The only person that could do that was the manufacture himself; God Almighty, the Lord Jesus the Christ: Joh 1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. [a] Joh 1:4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. Joh 1:5 And the light shines in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. So if you are struggling in any area know that you have the power to overcome it through Christ who strengthens you. Do not believe the lies of the enemy that would try to get you to condemn yourself. We serve a mighty God, who is mighty to save and full of loving kindness and tender mercies, for those who are willing to repent. Parallel Business Principals For a person to change their circumstances through building a Reliv business, they first have to change their Mindset. The biggest contributing factor to a person’s failure in our business is what is going on in their head. You have to want to be successful so badly that you will not let any challenge stop you. People’s opinion, attitudes towards what you are doing, views of the industry, etc, become irrelevant to you achieving your goals. In order to get to that place, you have to have a fundamental change in mindset. This is why not everyone who joins Reliv is going to be successful. Building a business like ours is more than a business, I truly believe it is a lesson in life and the personal growth a person gets in our industry is massive. You have to hate your situation so much, that failure is not an opinion, anything less and you will accept mediocrity. ******************************************************** Jason Gregory Business Coach & Mentor Reliv ******************************************************** |
