Everyone of us are on our own individual journeys, which will take us through various life experiences. These experiences shape who we are and prepare us for the life to come. We are sometimes challenged to go down roads we do not want to go down and we can try to avoid going there, however if our destiny lays down that road, we will eventually find ourselves there.
Many believers have testimonies of how they did not want to know about the gospel message, but God came and found them. So now they are travelling down a road that they did not set out to travel. These same people have powerful ministry’s, which God is using to help populate the kingdom. Jer 29:11 For I know the purposes which I am purposing for you, says Jehovah; purposes of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Our futures are in God’s hand and his hands are not too small as to not being able finish what he started. Php 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: God told Jonah to go to a certain city to speak to a rebellious people, but he did not want to do there, so he went to the opposite direction and God had to let him go through a traumatic experience to get him back on the right road, so he could fulfil the call of God on his life. We do not want to be so rebellious that God has to do that for us, do we? Many people come to God after going through serious illness and family tragedy or maybe they were broke and destitute and in that situation they experienced the love of God through one of God’s children, which brought them to faith. However there are those who the moment they heard the gospel they responded immediately and got saved. This does not mean they will never go through a traumatic experience, but it was not the traumatic experience that brought them to faith, but it will be their faith that will bring them through the traumatic experience. Big difference. Every single human being is predestined to be a child of God because of the work of Jesus and his death and resurrection. However our choices can change our destiny. Eph 1:2 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Eph 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, Eph 1:4 even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love Eph 1:5 he predestined us for adoption as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will, Eph 1:6 to the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved. Eph 1:7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace, Eph 1:8 which he lavished upon us, in all wisdom and insight Eph 1:9 making known to us the mystery of his will, according to his purpose, which he set forth in Christ Eph 1:10 as a plan for the fullness of time, to unite all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth. Eph 1:11 In him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will, Eph 1:12 so that we who were the first to hope in Christ might be to the praise of his glory. Eph 1:13 In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, This is a promise to all humanity, for everyone who is willing to accept the message. It is not Gods will that anyone is lost, but all people come to him, however even though that is God’s perfect, he knows that not everyone is going to accept the message and so his permissive will allows people to make their own choices. This is so judgement can happen, he has to stand in judgement because if he doesn’t he would not be righteous and he not be holy. God has to judge sin. This is why what Jesus did for us was so powerful: Rom 5:6 For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. Rom 5:7 For one will scarcely die for a righteous person--though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die-- Rom 5:8 but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. God chose to go down a road he had never travelled before, to share in our human experience that through his suffering, we could be reconciled back to him. Now that it powerful! Parallel Principals Many people who are building successful Reliv businesses did not set out to do that, some were customers who got good results, others were in successful careers that were taking up too much of their time. However they came, it was because of a need that over time and a lot of hard work, Reliv was able to fulfil. Many people see their businesses as more than just a home based business, but they see it as part of their calling because of the impact they are having on other people. They may have started off not knowing what they were doing and even making a lot of mistakes, however through plugging into the system and working with their support team, they were able to learn the necessary skills they needed to be successful. Along the way they would have seen people quit or slow down, however their WHY was too strong to let those people’s experiences be theirs. Many people look at those people when they are reached a certain level of success and they either want to be where they are or they have an attitude like “It’s ok for them, they have already made it” However to do not understand the challenges and the sacrifices that those individuals had to go through in order to be where they are. The road less travelled is the road that leads to success and that is why more people fail than do succeed. ********************************************** Jason Gregory Mentor & Business Coach Reliv **********************************************

The dictionary definition of poverty is: "Being poor, want; scarcity or lack; inferiority, poorness."
There are many parts of the world where poverty is caused by poor decisions within that government resulting in the people of that land suffering, then generation after generation the effects are passed on. Resources are taken away from that land which could beneficial to the people but because of greed they are sold elsewhere. In this scenario poverty is not a fault of the people of that land, but it is forced upon the people of that land. However in many other parts of the world poverty is as a result of poor choices and attitudes of individuals and then they pass on these poor attitudes to their children who then make the same poor choices. Poverty is not a blessing it is a curse: Proverbs 23:21 21 For the drunkard and the glutton shall come to poverty; And drowsiness will clothe a man with rags Our choices are so important, we live in a society that promotes people to run after fantasies that is why there is a Bookie (Gambling Shop) in nearly every area or shops that sell lottery tickets. People love watching shows like, Who wants to be a millionaire or The Wheel of Fortune. Then you have the reality shows like, Lifestyles Of The Rich And Famous or MTV Cribs. All of this to create envy and lust, so that people will continue to feed the poverty machine that has been created to hold people back. People like to escape into soap operas like: East Enders, Coronation Street or Emadale, so they can feel better that someone else's life is more messed up then theirs, but then they get hooked in through the story line so they have to come back for more and more. So instead of using their time to improve their own situation, they are stuck in front of the new alter of worship, which is in nearly every household, the TV! Proverbs 6:10 10 A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to relax, 11 and your poverty will come like a robber, and your need like an armed man. Proverbs 12: 11 11 Whoever tills his soil will have a lot to eat, but anyone who pursues fantasies lacks sense. a 12 The wicked desires what evil people gain, but the foundation a of the righteous is productive Proverbs 28:19 19 Whoever works his farmland will have abundant food, but whoever chases fantasies will become very poor. 20 The faithful man will prosper with blessings, but whoever is in a hurry to get rich will not escape punishment We have every ability to rise above our situations and God has place every law for success in his word. However if we do not know his word, then we will not apply his laws. There are many non Christians in the business world that apply certain laws of God not even knowing it and because of that they are prospering. Then you have people in the church who should know better because they have God's word, but because they never really study it and gain the right knowledge in the right areas, they are always struggling. God said in his word through John to Gauis: 3John 3:1-2 1 The elder unto the wellbeloved Gaius, whom I love in the truth. 2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth This is God's heart for us all but we need to understand that. I will leave you with these wise words from Solomon: Proverbs 14:23 23 In all hard work there is profit, but merely talking about it only brings poverty. Parallel Principals In building our Reliv there are certain things we have to do in order to be successful, if we do not do them, then we will not be successful. There are things put in place like the System, that are there to help us, but no one is going to force anyone to plug into it. People love to hear about the trips people go on or the checks that people have a achieved, but they do not realise the work those individuals had to put in, in order to earn those things. Building a business is not like playing the lottery, where people are hoping their numbers are going to come up. Building your Reliv business is going to be as a result of the efforts that you put in. So have the right attitude when building your business, make the right choices and in doing so, you will avoid financial and health poverty but more importantly, you help other people to do the same. ************************************************ Jason Gregory Business Coach & Mentor *********************************************** What does it mean to be passionate about something?
When you are passionate about something, nothing is going to stop you from completing the thing that you need to do. Passion takes away all excuses and causes you to go the extra mile. It causes you to push through amidst immense pressure. The time of the crucifixion of Jesus is called the Passion Of Christ, this is a period of time where Jesus the God Man showed his passion for humanity. He was fully God and yet fully man, his deity demonstrating the ultimate act of love but his humanity was under extreme pressure: Luk 22:41 And he was withdrawn from them about a stone's cast, and kneeled down, and prayed, Luk 22:42 Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done. Luk 22:43 And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him. Luk 22:44 And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground. Doctor’s reckon that in order for someone to sweat blood, they have to be under the most extremes of pressure. This was the level of passion Jesus had for us. You have to understand this was a choice Jesus made to go through this for us and that choice was motivated by love: Php 2:6 who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God, Php 2:7 but made Himself of no reputation, and took upon Himself the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men. Php 2:8 And being found in fashion as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Passion causes you to look at things differently from everyone else, so where as some people will not understand why you do what you do, other people with a similar passion will understand exactly why you do it. You cannot force someone to be passionate, they are either passionate or they are not. This is why you cannot force someone to be a Christian; the bible is very clear as to what it takes to start this journey of Christianity: Rom 10:8 But what does it say? "The Word is near you, even in your mouth and in your heart"; that is, the Word of Faith which we proclaim; Rom 10:9 Because if you confess the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. Rom 10:10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth one confesses unto salvation. When a person recognises that they are sinners that need a saviour and they understand that their lifestyle was leading to death, however the love that Jesus showed them through his death and resurrection has paid the penalty for their sins and they can now live a new life in him. People get very passionate about that and unless a person gets truly born again they will never understand why. There are so many so called Christian organisations that try to put their own spin on the bible, but for those who do not recognise Jesus as God, the one thing they miss every time, is the true understanding into the love of God. You see the whole bible from Genesis to Revelation is all about Jesus, he can be found in every book. The bible is more than just history, it is HIS STORY! Joh 15:13 No one has greater love than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Now that is true passion. Parallel Principals Not everyone is going to build a Reliv business because not everyone will be passionate about it. However Reliv is a very easy business to get passionate about, when you see the work of the Kalogris foundation and the impact it is having on lives around the world. Also when you meet with people at conferences and you hear the passion they have for the Lord, when you hear how ministries are being supported by the incomes people are making in their businesses and how people have more time to do ministry because of the business they have built, you can see why people get passionate about Reliv. From the very beginning through Dr Theodore and all of his trial formulations over 10 years, God was in this. I will never forget my first international conference when they showed a video of Dr Theodore and he was expressing his concerns that, because of all the results people were getting on the product they were putting him too much on a pedestal and giving him too much glory. In the video he said ‘Do not give him the glory, all the glory goes to God’ and he pointed upwards. This was a man who was passionate about having an impact on mankind through his research, but he was also a man who was passionate about the God who gave him the knowledge for his research. If you are not passionate about changing your situation and the situation of others, you will not build this business. If that passion does not run deep within you, you will make excuses, you will blame others for your failure and you will convince yourself that this business does not work. You see passion is not a commodity that everyone has, but for the ones who do have it, it is the most powerful commodity they possess! *************************************************** Jason Gregory Business Coach & Mentor Reliv *************************************************** |
