Being a Christian is a personal decision an individual has to make for himself or herself, you cannot save someone, no matter how badly you want to.
God is so gracious that he gives everyone of us a choice and because he does, we have to respect the choices individuals make to either serve him or not. If we don’t and try to strong-arm them into the kingdom, we will push them away from God rather than pull them in. However, the part we can play is to live our lives by example, so that every time that people observes us, we are being a witness. I see the mistake a lot with married couples, where one of the them is not a Christian and the Christian spouse always tries to make the other feel guilty when they ask them to go to church with them and the other one says no. We have to remember, we do not do the convicting, the Holy Spirit does: Joh 6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day. The Bible we most confess with our mouths and BELIEVE with our hearts the Jesus died and rose again and his blood has cleansed us. So a mouth confession is just not enough. You see it all the time in churches where people go up to the front and rise their hands to say they accept Jesus, but how many really believe with their hearts and are not just responding to a emotional presentation and group dynamics? To be a Christian is a definitive response to the gospel message and fruit of that response is seen through out that person’s live. They become part of the family of God and as family members they should be treated like one. This means if they are going through some issues, the family doesn’t start condemning them but they start supporting them. Sometimes that support can come in the form of giving them a little space but still being a witness. Another times that support can come in the form of sitting down, talking with them as a fellow brother or sister in Christ. Every situation is different and needs to be treated that way, but always in wisdom. We can also do our part by praying in the background and warring in the spirit for that person. Remember the weapons of our warfare are not carnal: 2Co 10:3 Of course, we are living in the world, but we do not wage war in a world-like way. 2Co 10:4 For the weapons of our warfare are not those of the world. Instead, they have the power of God to demolish fortresses. We tear down arguments 2Co 10:5 and every proud obstacle that is raised against the knowledge of God, taking every thought captive in order to obey the Messiah. 2Co 10:6 Once your obedience is complete, we will be ready to reprimand every type of disobedience. We must never forget that we are in a battle and that battle starts within our minds, so the enemy tries to disarm us as much as possible by getting us to stop, reading, stop praying and stop fellowshipping. So when we see that in our brothers or sisters, this such direct our prayers. We also need to operate in wisdom, because the enemy can also use our responses to that person, to push them away. Remember the person has to work out their own salvation, but we can still can be a witness through our lives. When the children of Israel were being delivered from Egypt, each house had to put the blood on their own doorpost to stop the death angel from coming in and taking the first born. In the same way each individual has to put the blood of Jesus on their own hearts and in obedience to God, live their lives. Parallel Business Principles There is a very relevant parallel here when building your Reliv business and that is, you cannot take someone further than they want to go. Sometimes you want it so badly for someone else but they don’t want it ad bad for themselves. In these cases you can just frustrate yourself trying to get someone to build a business, who is just not ready to. In theses cases you need to go and help somebody else but still being that witness to the other person, that you are there to help people that want help. Hopefully that other person will wake up and start building their business, but if they don’t then you still have people you are working with. Someone has to know their why, WHY are they building their business. ************************************** Jason Gregory Business Coach & Mentor Reliv **************************************

As believers in Jesus Christ we are sojourners in a foreign land, in other words this is not our home but part of our journey home. This is why we are commanded to be in the world but not of the world. There should be a distinct difference between how the people outside of Christ act and carry themselves compared to the people inside of Christ. We are commanded to be lights to the world ( Matthew 5:14) and so we cannot be lights to the world if we are the same as the world. This whole world system has been strategically set up by the enemy to deceive people and hold people in bondage, so the only way we can effectively pull people out is by creating an environment within an environment. The Church or Body of Christ is meant to be an Oasis where people can run to that would direct them to the true and living God, but unfortunately in many chases the established church have become a social club for people who just want to be politically correct and not rock the boat in anyway but just live in a little Christian bubble. Having an environment within an environment creates a safe house that exists and cause things to grow that couldn’t grow in the bigger environment. Just look at how many people the bigger environment had written off and cast aside, who were able to make it to the Oasis and are now doing exploits for the kingdom. Look how many times the so called intellectuals of this world have been humbles by someone in the kingdom who is not supposed to be able to speak on their level: 1Co_1:27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; This is why it is so important for churches to operate in unity, because the world is looking on. THE CHURCH (Body of Christ) is in unity because Christ is building his Church, however, “churches” are not! Mat 16:15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? Mat 16:16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. Mat 16:17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. Mat 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. The same way we need to create an environment within and environment, God has his Church within the church and at some point the two will be separated: Mat 13:24 The Parable about the Weeds among the Wheat He presented another parable to them, saying, “The kingdom from heaven may be compared to a man who sowed good seed in his field. Mat 13:25 While people were sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat and went away. Mat 13:26 When the crop came up and bore grain, the weeds appeared, too. Mat 13:27 The owner’s servants came and asked him, ‘Master, you sowed good seed in your field, didn’t you? Then where did these weeds come from?’ Mat 13:28 He told them, ‘An enemy did this!’ The servants asked him, ‘Then do you want us to go and pull them out?’ Mat 13:29 He said, ‘No! If you pull out the weeds, you might pull out the wheat with them. Mat 13:30 Let both grow together until the harvest, and at harvest time I will tell the reapers, “Gather the weeds first and tie them in bundles for burning, but bring the wheat into my barn.”’” We are in a hostile environment and so in order to remain safe, we need to be in our environment. Just remember when all of the 10 plagues were effecting Egypt, the people of Israel were safe in Goshen! But even in Goshen they had to be obedient to God. Parallel Business Principles In our Reliv business the System creates an environment in which a person can grow their business in a hostile environment. This is why when people try to build their business outside of the system they fail every time. Not only does the system present the products and business in the right way, but it also keeps the distributors motivated and encourage. So it is a double-edged sword. We have to guard ourselves against the negative opinions of others and this is why plugging into the system in so, so, important. In our business, you will have those who plug in and those who will not, you cannot control that. However the ones who do, are the ones you work with and give most of your times and effects to, because those are the ones who are going to help the most amount of people and have longevity. The others will be with you for a season but eventually they will be gone. That is ok, I still have people who used to do the business but decided not to plug into the system and so stopped build their business, however they still take the products faithfully because of the results they get. Upon the understanding of the system, you can build your organization and the gates of negative opinions of others and negative self talk by yourself, will not be able to prevail against it! ********************************* Jason Gregory Business Coach & Mentor Reliv ********************************* As believers we need to be aware that we are in a spiritual battle and the battle is an everyday battle for our souls. We have a very real enemy who hates us with a passion. Coupled with that is we live in a fallen world and we all have within us a part of us that gravitates to this this fallen world. This is why it is so important that we remain connected to the source, which is God, as only then can we overcome ourselves and the plans of the enemy. Pauls said about this battle: Rom 7:13 The Problem of the Sin that Lives in Us Now, did something good bring me death? Of course not! But in order that sin might be recognized as being sin, it used something good to cause my death, so that through the rule, sin might become more exposed as being sinful than ever before. Rom 7:14 For we know that the Law is spiritual, but I am merely human, sold as a slave to sin. Rom 7:15 I don’t understand what I am doing. For I don’t practice what I want to do, but instead do what I hate. Rom 7:16 Now if I practice what I don’t want to do, I am admitting that the Law is good. Rom 7:17 As it is, I am no longer the one who is doing it, but it is the sin that is living in me. Rom 7:18 For I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my flesh. For I have the desire to do what is right, but I cannot carry it out. Rom 7:19 For I don’t do the good I want to do, but instead do the evil that I don’t want to do. Rom 7:20 But if I do what I don’t want to do, I am no longer the one who is doing it, but it is the sin that is living in me. Rom 7:21 So I find this to be a principle: when I want to do what is good, evil is right there with me. Rom 7:22 For I delight in the Law of God in my inner being, Rom 7:23 but I see in my body a different principle waging war with the Law in my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin that exists in my body. Rom 7:24 What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is infected by death? Rom 7:25 Thank God through Jesus the Messiah, our Lord, because with my mind I myself can serve the Law of God, even while with my human nature I serve the law of sin. We also have to be ready for the external attack of the enemy also and there are two scriptures that equip us for this in a real way. The first scripture is Ephesians 6 Eph 6:10 Putting on the Whole Armor of God Finally, be strong in the Lord, relying on his mighty strength. Eph 6:11 Put on the whole armor of God so that you may be able to stand firm against the devil’s strategies. Eph 6:12 For our struggle is not against human opponents, but against rulers, authorities, cosmic powers in the darkness around us, and evil spiritual forces in the heavenly realm. Eph 6:13 For this reason, take up the whole armor of God so that you may be able to take a stand whenever evil comes. And when you have done everything you could, you will be able to stand firm. Eph 6:14 Stand firm, therefore, having fastened the belt of truth around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, Eph 6:15 and being firm-footed in the gospel of peace. Eph 6:16 In addition to having clothed yourselves with these things, having taken up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to put out all the flaming arrows of the evil one, Eph 6:17 also take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And the second scripture is Galatians 5 Gal 5:19 Now the actions of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity, promiscuity, Gal 5:20 idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, rivalry, jealously, outbursts of anger, quarrels, conflicts, factions, Gal 5:21 envy, murder, drunkenness, wild partying, and things like that. I am telling you now, as I have told you in the past, that people who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, Gal 5:23 gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against such things. Gal 5:24 Now those who belong to the Messiah Jesus have crucified their flesh with its passions and desires. Gal 5:25 Since we live by the Spirit, by the Spirit let us also be guided. Gal 5:26 Let’s stop being arrogant, provoking one another and envying one another. You see the enemy cannot force us to do anything, that will ALWAYS be our choice, however he can create situations that make our choices harder. He knows us and he always tries to get us to fall back into our old ways. He has constructed this whole world system to fight against everything we believe as Christians to be right. He has even strategically planted false teachers who are eloquent charismatic speakers to lead people astray and many people who do not know the word for themselves have been lead astray. The attacks are real, however the Bible says: 1Jn_4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. As we draw closer to God, he in turn draws closer to us, we experience him in a real way and we see how he is able to keep us through any situation. The helmet of salvation protects our minds against all of the negativity the enemy tries to put in there. The Breast Plate of righteousness protects our emotions against those attacks too. God has not left us alone but he has equipped us for the battle. As a Christian you cannot hind in the bleachers and hope the enemy will just pass you by, you are the focus of his attack the moment you accept Christ. So do not be a helpless target but be equipped so that in the heat of battle, you can stand! Parallel Business Principles We are in an industry where you will come up against many people’s opinions; they will have opinions about Network Marketing and about Nutrition. If you are not equipped correctly, you will let those people’s opinions effect you to the extent that you stop building your business. This is why you have to follow the system in order to prepare yourself for the battle ahead. I have seen time after time, the people that do not plug into the system correctly can never stand in the heat of the battle and eventually quit the business. Preparation is key to success so if you are not prepared to give time to your business and in turn serve others, subsequently you business will not serve you. ************************************ Jason Gregory Business Coach & Mentor Reliv ************************************ |
