Giving Your Life To Something
When you give your life to something it is because you are completely sold out to that thing. It causes someone to be passionate about the thing they are sold out to. As Christians we should be completely sold out the person of Jesus, God in the flesh, because when we are it causes us to study and dig deeper and deeper into the things of God: Psalms 42:5-7 “5 Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God, for once again I will praise him, since his presence saves me. 6 My God, my soul feels depressed within me; therefore I will remember you from the land of Jordan, from the heights of Hermon, even from the foothills. 7 Deep waters call out to what is deeper still; at the roar of your waterfalls all your breakers and your waves swirled over me” Because David had a personal relationship with God he could call out to him in this way, acknowledging that a person with a knowledge of God is deeper than the person without the knowledge of him, hence his phrase in verse 7 “Deep waters call out to what is deeper still;” When a person truly understands that the God of the universe loves them so such, that he was willing to experience life as a human being, to go through pain just like us, to suffer and die as a man, to redeem man back to himself; it is easy to get sold out to a God like that. This is why in the early church, when the persecution was at it's highest, the church was growing the most. To have the freedom of worship we have today, over the centuries many people had to suffer and die and this is why we cannot afford to play around with our Christianity, because if we do we are playing around with the blood of the martyrs. However we are living in the end times and the time is going to come when the true Christian is going to have to stand up and be counted. Religious persecution will come up and many people are already experiencing it. This is where a person will truly know whether or not they are sold out to the things of God. So just as long as we are dressed properly, in these times we should be able to stand: Ephesians 6:10 -17 10 Finally, be strong in the Lord, relying on his mighty strength. 11 Put on the whole armor of God so that you may be able to stand firm against the devil's strategies. 12 For our a struggle is not against human opponents, b but against rulers, authorities, cosmic powers in the darkness around us, c and evil spiritual forces in the heavenly realm. 13 For this reason, take up the whole armor of God so that you may be able to take a stand whenever evil comes. And when you have done everything you could, you will be able to stand firm. 14 Stand firm, therefore, having fastened the belt of truth around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and being firm- footed in the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to having clothed yourselves with these things, having taken up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to put out all the flaming arrows of the evil one, 17 also take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. God wants people to be true to him, religiousness means nothing to God and in fact Jesus fought down religiousness everywhere he found it. He called the religious leaders of the day, “Blind Guides, Hypocrites, White Washed Sepulchres” So having a title in church means nothing if your life is not right. Doing Christian activity will bless the people being ministered to but will do nothing for you if your life is not right. Christianity is not like one of those religions where your good deeds have to out weigh your bad deeds before you die. Christianity is about having a love relationship with your heavenly father, so that you do not do things because you have to do them, you do them because you want to. When you are fully sold out to something it is not a struggle to do things, it is a natural part of who you are! Parallel Principles When a person understands that they truly have to change their life and they have truly found a vehicle to do that, they are then completely sold out to their success. That person does not have to be convinced, they just need to be directed. In Reliv as we build our businesses we are going to meet many different types of people and people are going to tell us many different things. However you do not concentrate on what they say, you watch what they do. This is because some of the people are going to be time wasters and time is the only commodity that once it is gone, we can never get it back. So you want to place your time and efforts to the people that deserve your time and not necessarily to the people that want your time. The people that desire your time are the people that are completely sold out to their own success and the success of others. These people who are sold out to their own success, you do not have to convince about plugging into the system, they just listen to what you say and start applying it. If they do not have certain system elements where they live, they either travel to one or they plug into what they can plug into until they have established enough leaders in their area to start the missing system elements. You have to be completely sold out to your own success to act this way, because along the road there are going to be challenges and sometimes you are going to want to quit, but when you are sold out to what you are doing, quitting no longer becomes an option. So putting on the armour in Reliv is putting on the Reliv system and if you do, in the time of testing, having done ALL system elements, you will stand. ************************************************** Jason Gregory Business Coach & Mentor Reliv **************************************************

As individuals we all have choices to make and those choices fall into 2 categories, and they are:
Everything we do in life is going to be influenced by these 2 categories. It started off in the Garden Eden and it will continue right up until the return of Christ. When Joshua was addressing the nation of Israel, when they were progressing through the promised land he said: Joshua 24 :8 - 15 8 And I took you into the lands of the Amorites on the other side of Jordan; and they made war on you, and I gave them into your hands and you took their land; and I sent destruction on them before you. 9 Then Balak, the son of Zippor, king of Moab, went up to war against Israel; and he sent for Balaam, the son of Beor, to put a curse on you: 10 But I did not give ear to Balaam; and so he went on blessing you; and I kept you safe from him. 11 Then you went over Jordan and came to Jericho: and the men of Jericho made war on you, the Amorites and the Perizzites and the Canaanites and the Hittites and the Girgashites and the Hivites and the Jebusites: and I gave them up into your hands. 12 And I sent the hornet before you, driving out the two kings of the Amorites before you, not with your sword and your bow. 13 And I gave you a land on which you had done no work, and towns not of your building, and you are now living in them; and your food comes from vine- gardens and olive- gardens not of your planting. 14 So now, go in fear of the Lord, and be his servants with true hearts: put away the gods worshipped by your fathers across the River and in Egypt, and be servants of the Lord. 15 And if it seems evil to you to be the servants of the Lord, make the decision this day whose servants you will be: of the gods whose servants your fathers were across the River, or of the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living: but I and my house will be the servants of the Lord. He was calling them to a decision, to be obedient or disobedient, but he was making his decision clear. When you choose to obey, you are going to come against opposition and your decision is going to be challenged. However once you have made up in your mind that you are going to obey, God will make a way for you: 1 Corinthians 10: 13 13 No temptation has overtaken you that is unusual for human beings. But God is faithful, and he will not allow you to be tempted beyond your strength. Instead, along with the temptation he will also provide a way out, so that you may be able to endure it God doesn't just leave us alone in our decision but he give us his Holy Spirit to lead us and guide us: Galatians 5: 16 16 So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will never fulfill the desires of the flesh Deliberate disobedience has consequences, God is not just going to let you continue to sin without punishing you because he loves you too much for that and the bible says God chastises those who he loves Proverbs 3:12 12 because the Lord corrects the person he loves, just as a father corrects the son he delights in. When King David was deliberately disobedient with Beth Sheba and she got pregnant, the consequence of that disobedience was the baby died. Before that when King Saul was deliberately disobedient, the result of that was the kingdom was taken from him. We all have choices to make and those choices we determine our futures. Everyday people are dying and going to a lost eternity simply because of the choices they have made. So choose this day who you will serve, will in be the gods of the false religions out there, will it be the god of wealth and lifestyle, will it be the god of self righteousness or religiousness. There are many gods you can serve, but as Joshua said, “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord” Parallel Principals People make choices when building their Reliv business, whether to be obedient or disobedient to the instructions given to them in order to be successful. We hear about the system ALL THE TIME, however it is a choice to obey or not. The result of disobedience to the system is a person does not grow their business, however the result of a person plugging into the system, with persistency, consistency and determination, we will be, that they will be successful. You see, you have to be obedient to listen to your upline, you have to be obedient to listen in on the Monday Night call or come to the Tuesday night meeting. Obedience makes you turn up for Saturday morning training, active 3 ways calling. Consequently the result of obedience means, you will qualify for MATs School and you and your organisation will be at the Conferences. So if you are being deliberately obedient to the system, do not complain when your business does not grow. ********************************************** Jason Gregory Business Coach & Mentor Reliv ********************************************** Life can be very challenging and sometimes people find it hard to see past their immediate challenge because it seems to big. So they get anxious and depressed, which brings about stress to body, which causes them to get sick, which adds to the their problems.
As Christians in these situations we have a source of strength to tap into but in order to tap into that source we first have to face our giants and by faith already see the giant defeated. Good example is David When all of the armies of Israel were afraid and giving up because of a giant who they thought was un-defeatable, one boy full of faith was will willing to step up and face the giant. The boys faith told him that the giant was already defeated, so when he faced the giant he was confident: 1Samuel 17: 43 - 46 43 And the Philistine said to David, Am I a dog, that you come out to me with sticks? And the Philistine put curses on David by all his gods. 44 And the Philistine said to David, Come here to me, and I will give your flesh to the birds of the air and the beasts of the field. 45 Then David said to the Philistine, You come to me with a sword and a spear and a javelin: but I come to you in the name of the Lord of armies, the God of the armies of Israel on which you have put shame. 46 This day the Lord will give you up into my hands, and I will overcome you, and take your head off you; and I will give the bodies of the Philistine army to the birds of the air and the beasts of the earth today, so that all the earth may see that Israel has a God David was not looking at the size of the giant, he was looking at the God who was bigger, the same God that had delivered him from the lions and bears when he was protecting the sheep. This is why later on in his life when he was facing new challenges and the challenges were getting him down, he could write Psalms like: Psalms 61: 1 - 4 1 Hear my cry, O God; Attend unto my prayer. 2 From the end of the earth will I call unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: Lead me to the rock that is higher than I. 3 For thou hast been a refuge for me, A strong tower from the enemy. 4 I will dwell in thy tabernacle for ever: I will take refuge in the covert of thy wings. [Selah] That is what we as believers need to do, we need to reflect on how in the past God has come through for us and know, if he did it before, he can do it again! We need to know that we have a God who is strong enough the take the weight of our problems, so that we can have rest but we first have to face our fears and defeat them with faith, because fear paralyses where as faith releases. 2 Timothy 1: 7 7 For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of self Problems and challenges will always be there, it is called life, God didn't not promise us a problem free life when we became a Christian, if anything he said our problems and challenges would increase. However he did said through these challenges we would be able to see him work, so as to prove to the devil who is truly in control. God said through the apostle Paul to the Roman church: And we are conscious that all things are working together for good to those who have love for God, and have been marked out by his purpose (Roman 8:28) He also backs it up through the prophet Jeremiah as he speaks to Israel, through whom we as christians have been grafted into with regards to certain promises: 11 For I am conscious of my thoughts about you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you hope at the end (Jeremiah 29:11) So if we choose to believe these words, then not only will we face our giants, we will defeat them! Remember God can take the weight of what we are going through: Matthew 11:28 28 Come to me, all you who are troubled and weighted down with care, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke on you and become like me, for I am gentle and without pride, and you will have rest for your souls; 30 For my yoke is good, and the weight I take up is not hard Parallel Principals In order for someone build this Reliv business, they first have to defeat their biggest giant, which is themselves. They have to defeat all of the negative thoughts that come into their heads, all of the excuses that they can come with and all of the wrong actions that these things produce. If they cannot defeat this giant, they will never grow this business. If people can do that and then just fully buy into the system and utilise it properly, then their business will grow. At what rate? That will be a direct correlation to their effort that they put in. Know that you are going succeed and you will. *************************************** Jason Gregory Business Coach & Mentor Reliv ************************************** |
