As believers we have accepted a gift so precious that our very eternity has been effected. As with every human being we had the choice whether to accept it or reject it and we choose well.
The reality is we live in a fallen world where the majority of the people are going to either reject the gift or put their own spin on the gift and therefore disqualifying themselves from entering into that eternal Sabbath rest which the bible speaks about. Mat 7:13 Go in through the narrow gate, for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many there are who go in through it. Mat 7:14 Because narrow is the gate and constricted is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it. Through the free gift of salvation God have shown us Goodness and Mercy. Eph 2:8 For by grace you are saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, Eph 2:9 not of works, lest anyone should boast. Grace is undeserved and unmerited favour, in other words it was not given to us because we are so good, on the contrary, it was given to us because we were so bad. David said: Psa 23:6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I shall dwell in the house of Jehovah forever. This was a man who arranged another man’s death so he could have his wife, but was also a man who recognized his flaws repented of his sins and asked God to change his heart. Psa 51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. Psa 51:11 Cast me not away from Your presence, and take not Your Holy Spirit from me. Psa 51:12 Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, and uphold me with a willing spirit. David went through a type of Born Again experience as he said this prayer and experienced God’s Goodness and Mercy. Many times we feel that the things we have done are so bad that what is the point repenting because God will not be listening, but that is exactly what the enemy of our souls wants us to think because just as long as we do think like that, he has us trapped in our sins. Some people have a warped view on repentance and think it is just saying sorry. (A lot of times the person is only sorry that they were caught). Then there are other people who think repentance is all about confessing their sins to someone, being told to do a few things by the person they are confusing to as penance and that is all they need (Trying to gain salvation by their works). However repentance from a biblical point of view which is how God sees it is someone who recognises their flaws, confesses them before God, asks for forgiveness from God and recognises that the work Jesus did on the cross has washed away their sins and they truly believe that in their heart. A person who has truly repented is pretty easy to spot, because that person has done a 180 degrees turn and is now living their lives in the opposite direction at a much higher standard than they were doing before. For the person who said they repented and are doing the same old things over and over again, the truth is they have just said sorry! God’s Goodness and Mercy is available to everyone who is willing to accept it and to those who do, he wants to pour out his spirit on them and fill them so they can be equip to live successful lives, even in this fallen world. Parallel Principals In order to build a successful Reliv business you have to be willing to show Goodness and Mercy, this is because even when things do not seem to be going your way, you have to recognise that their are people out there who you have not met yet who are only going to experience a break in their health or their finances because you are building your Reliv business. Today there are families who have experienced breakthroughs with Autism, diabetes, High Blood pressure, asthma, arthritis, the list goes on and on, simply because 3 ½ years ago Aneela and I decided to start our Reliv business. If you are not ready to show Goodness and Mercy, you will be so busy thinking about your own situation that you forget that the result and doing the things that you need to do to build your business, will result in you impacting thousands of people, some people you will never meet. So focus on these 3 things and go away and build your business 1. Personal Growth 2. People Skills 3. Mastering the basics through the Reliv System. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I shall dwell in the house of Jehovah forever.
