Staying Connected It is so important that we as Christians stay connected to the source of life, which is our creator. God has provided us a way in which we can get to know him better, it is called the Bible.
There are many people that read the Bible for different reasons, some read the Bible simply to pick holes in it, so they can fight down the Christian faith; others read the Bible as a tool for manipulating people. While others read the Bible because they understand that in it holds everything they need to get through this life effectively and get closer to God. In the book of Psalms Kings David makes a very profound statement: Psa 119:9 How may a young man make his way clean? by guiding it after your word. He goes on to say: Psa 119:11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. The power behind the Christian life is the acknowledgement of the Word of God. We read in the book of John that you cannot separate God from his word, they are one and the same: Joh 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Joh 1:2 The same was in the beginning with God. However the most powerful thing to understand about God’s word is that it took on human form to make the ultimate connection with us: Joh 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. This is the thing that separates Christianity from any other world faith, our creator took on a human form to pay the ultimate price out of love for his creation. You see, it is one thing to say that you have a God that loves you, but how has he demonstrated that love? Well the ultimate demonstration of love is to give your life for someone else’s: Joh 15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Now I have heard people urgue in the past, “well if Jesus was God and God died on the cross then who was running the universe?” People who are not connected to the source will ask that question, because being connected to the source allows you to understand certain things: 1. God can do all things according to his nature 2. God can be in multiple places at the same time because he is omni present. 3. In order for God to truly relate to us, and understand our pain and challenges, he had to be like us: Heb 4:14 Our Compassionate High Priest Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has gone to heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us live our lives consistent with our confession of faith. Heb 4:15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses. Instead, we have one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet he never sinned. So stay connected with the source of life, read the word, study the word and importantly enjoy the word, because once you enjoy it, your will value it and when you value it, you will apply it. Parallel Principles How do you grow a Reliv business? By staying connected to the Reliv Success System, it is a simple as that. So many people disconnect themselves from the system and wonder why their business is not growing, or they wonder why people are not responding to their message. Being connected to a source is so important because that is where the power is. The source makes it a level playing field for everyone willing to put the effort in. The source also allows people to trust the process. Finally the source allows the process to be duplicable. So stay connected to the source and see your business grow. ************************************* Jason Gregory Business Coach & Mentor Reliv *************************************
