We live in a world that is full of challenges for the believer, no one was born a Christian and we all had lives before coming to Christ. Many times things from the past rise up and try to drag us back to our old way of living, but God knew this would happen and that is why he gave us his Holy Spirit, to lead us into all truth.
We are going to be tempted throughout our life, so it is not the temptation that is sin, it is the yielding to the temptation that is sin!
1Co 10:12 So let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall.
1Co 10:13 No temptation has taken you but what is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but with the temptation also will make a way to escape, so that you may be able to bear it.
So when the Adamic nature (The fleshy human nature) tries to raise itself during temptation, we can either make excuses for it, which will cause us to yield to the temptation or we can choose to walk in the spirit:
Gal 5:16 I say, then, Walk in the Spirit and you shall not fulfil the lusts of the flesh.
Many times people complain about their situations and a lot of times, the situation they are in is as a result of a series of poor decisions.
People calling themselves Christians and living their lives any old how!
People never reading the word so they do not even know how to respond to a situation in a Godly way, so they are always reacting in a fleshy way. Then they complain when their lives are not going the way they wanted it to.
We need to understand this statement very carefully, which God told us in his word:
Gal 6:7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked. For whatever a man sows, that he also will reap.
Gal 6:8 For he sowing to his flesh will reap corruption from the flesh. But he sowing to the Spirit will reap life everlasting from the Spirit.
The Children of Israel complained constantly when God brought them out of Egypt and this was because, even though they were physically out of the bondage of slavery in Egypt, spiritually they were still there. Unfortunately a lot of times that is exactly what happens to many Christians, even though they have been saved by grace through faith, they end up becoming spiritual skitsophrenics leading two lives and the first opportunity to make an idol in their lives, that’s exactly what they are going to do.
God has given us everything in his word pertaining to life and to Godliness, if we would just read it and discover it for ourselves. So if we choose not to do that, we really have nothing to complain about.
The market place pays for value and it always amazes me how people complain about their financial situation but are not willing to learn the skills to get themselves out of that situation.
The same thing applies in our business. A person who decides to build their Reliv business is going to have to learn some new skills in order to be successful. The person that chooses not to learn the new skills WILL NOT be successful.
If your business is not where you currently want it to be, you can look at it in two ways:
1. Complain that this business does not work and the products are not as good as you thought
2. Understand that the products are even better than you thought and recognise you have to learn some new skills.
Most people will go for number one and that is why 98% of our population will be either dead or dead broke by the age of 65.
The Reliv system is designed to give you a road map of how to do your business, but it does not stop there, you also need to develop new skills, have some personal growth and you WILL get different results.
And always remember this, anything you put before God in your life is an idol, including your business. So have the right perceptive about what you are doing and trust God to give you the ability to complete it.
